brief personality info: Eccentric, cleaver and charming, Faust comes off as joking and immature, often teasing his employees but he is in fact a mature and calculating man with a mind hundreds of years old. He was once a man who craved power and knowledge beyond anything else and has not lost his desire for both. He often talks in riddles to those beneath him, sounding as if he is merely speaking nonsense when what he says carries great weight and has often saved his employees' lives. He never loses his cool and keeps others from getting close with cheerful actions and teasing, he is in reality a dark and broken man.
Bio: He sold his soul to the demon Mephistopheles for all the knowledge and power in the world. For twenty four years he lived a life of sin and pleasure and when his time was up and the demon came for his soul, Faust tricked him and managed to keep it. In retribution, the Mephistopheles cursed him to never age and to live for 700 years. When this time was up, Faust would beg for death he claimed. Faust lived on, watching those he loved grow old and die. He suffered a living hell when he fell in love and watched her wither away with age. He did everything to attempt to prevent this but Mephistopheles had given him a second curse, to lose all he loved. Faust went temporarily mad as he scanned every dark corner to save his love, every book of black magic, summoned every demon from the pits of hell and all either could not or would not aid her. Faust watched in despair as his love withered and died. He sunk further into madness before finding and building his shop where he has resided eve since, aiding those he could in some fever hope of regaining his slowly ebbing humanity. Even if he wanted to help another however, his time with demons had taught him all magic comes with a price and thus he cannot give without taking.
