Rebecca stood slowly, eyeing the kunai with a well-versed mind. It wasn't nearly as spectacular as a switch blade or something, but at least Rebecca's defense went from immediately near her person, to a good twenty-foot radius. When she stood straight, she locked her eyes with Oki's and gave a sly half smile. It was her signature look. She extended her hand and her fingertips grazed the cool steel blade. She fingered the weapon, sliding her fingers closer to Oki's hand, inevitably coming to cap Oki's hand with her own. She let it rest there a moment, then took the blade from her, replacing it with the crude implement that had been on her person for months. Rebecca stepped in closer to Oki, her lips mere inches from the witch. They exchanged breaths for a few short moments, then Rebecca spoke in a flirtatious tone, "Perhaps Oki should learn to barter with some things, and allow others to see how gracious she can be."

There was no joy in Oki's eyes as the girl stood, it was a directly disobedient of the order. The collar had given no punishment, Oki was right there- watching in annoyance at the audacity of the conceited auburn headed girl. The small woman did not flinch, blink or swallow- her jaw was already set, arms now hung relaxed at her sides and breathing steady. Any physical tells of her emotions were in her eyes, but she'd closed them. As the blade had been pressed against Oki's lip and switched out a small line of black blood appeared and Oki's temper had reached its peak. A slow smile crossed her lips and the room itself grew heavier. There was a reason she had been alone for so long, Rebecca was reminding her of just why. She was not a touchy person, she did not like people in her face and did not like the smugness which rode so firmly on many shoulders. Oki was by no means humble, but rarely forced herself into others faces. Oki stepped forward and pressed her cheek against Rebecca's, she cooed a word in another language before informing gently, " She goes about winning her war the incorrect way." The heat in Rebecca's veins raged- it made the servant fall and twist and writhe. Their own personal Hell as sudden fever dreams consumed the mind. Oki didn't play games, she didn't care for them. Rebecca required a gentle and firm hand all in the same breath. How troublesome. She looked to Vladimir, " He may go now." She left Rebecca there, writhing on the floor and walked calmly to the back porch. Oki held out her hand as the dagger slipped off and splattered on the ground. The thick sludge of what was the blade began to twist and stream as it began to eat through the stone patio. She waved a hand- a shard of ice encasing the sludge and halting the decay. Oki sighed, a glass of wine appearing in her hand. Rebecca would be subject to only ten minutes of Hell. A fair cost for her disobedience, Oki would stay nearby but would not halt the spell.

The assassin smiled smugly as the witch placed her cheek to her own. It was a small gesture, but one that got Rebecca's foot in the door, as it were, to establishing a physical relationship with her slaver. One step closer to her tentative freedom. Even still, though the gesture was ill placed and it began to bode unwell for the ninja warrior, Rebecca knew she had accomplished something. After Oki spoke, Rebecca felt the heat surge feverishly through her body, as if she was being cooked from the inside out. Through violent seizures and convulsing, Rebecca couldn't help but laugh. Laugh maniacally, through the intermittent screams of pain and agony. The lucid hallucinations were tormenting, dark, and unholy in all meanings of the terms, but it was one of the first moments since coming to the island where Rebecca had made progress in humanizing the witch. Rebecca knew how to play the game now. After what seemed like an eternity, the pain finally subsided, the nightmares faded away, and Rebecca laid on the floor, unconscious and exhausted. Large patches of charred flesh dotted her body, leaving every other inch of her marred with red, blistered skin. Her breathing was regulating itself as her body began the glacial healing process. Rebecca's mind was blank, save for a few echoed nightmares. Still, despite what had just transpired, Rebecca had been content in the decisions she made.

A day would pass. Oki left in the morning without a word to her servants, no note or message left behind. The doors and windows would not open, sealed shut by magic- any attempt to go outside was met with a locking of muscles or a redirect in motion. Rebecca would wake in her bed, tucked in tightly. ((OOC: Welcome back. A short reply is find AS LONG as you react to the events unfolding before you. Take your time, I'm in no rush. It's roughly time for finals and I need to get some stuff done, so enjoy one another's company. I'll be able to post here and there

Rebecca awoke, startled. He skin was still red and blistered, and some have even ruptured and she had spots of pus oozing from her flesh. She peeled off the blankets and sheet from her body and slowly made her way into the bathroom, locating any type of ointment she could find, and practically bathed in it. She couldn't actually bathe, for it would hurt far too much. After she managed to undress and medicate herself, she sat on the clod bathroom floor, naked, and simply smiled. It was going to be one interesting day, that was for sure.

Vlad smiled as he woke up in the familiar dimness of the Kennal, He wasnt sure if Oki was going to just make another one or if she was still going to try and make him stay in the Black Room. The thought left his mind replaced with his need for the day, to explore the house once more and to eat and shower. He could sense Okis' presence in the house and assumed that she had went out meaning he wasnt going to be able to leave the house. Common sense would say even though we cant escape the island, Oki would not let him out of the house for some mundane reason and so he ross and set about his morning.

When she felt settled enough and most of the ointment had sunk into her skin, Rebecca stood and went to find something to dress in. She also, prior to dressing, wrapped the majority of her body with thinner clothes like the drapes, and towels and napkins to cover her body and aid in the healing process. When she searched her drawers for some form of attire, she couldn't find much other than a few loose garments that just covered all her makeshift wrappings. She wasn't quite hungry, and her collar wasn't signalling any type of command, so she sat on the window ledge and gently held her knees to her chest. She peered out of her windoe for most of the morning, not really caring to socialize or eat. She moved about the room occasionally; either sitting on the ledge, laying on the bed, or just pacing to think of something other than the ache of healing.

Vlad decided that it would be ok to go and do what he planned today. He ascended to the first floor and went to the kitchen. He grabbed an apple and looked at it for moment before he decided on a few grapes instead. He sat down at the dinning room table and kicked back. As he leisurely ate his grapes he couldn't help but wander what the assassin was up too he hadn't seen her in passing and assumed she was up in her room. After he finished with his breakfast he went upstairs to look for a bathroom. The only one he could find unfortunately was on the third floor in the black room. Despite his disdain he decided to stay up there mostly because the room was completely dark, which is just perfect with him. He easily walked and navigated the darkness and made his way to the bathroom and went through the routine of taking a shower. After he was done he searched the drawers for some clean clothes and found a large assortment of clothes. He decided on some slacks and dress vest which he left unbuttoned. After he was satisfied, he descended to the second floor and knocked on the door of the assassins door.

As she went to sit back down on the ledge of the window, she heard a knock at the door and her body immediately tensed. She winced from the pain, but shrugged it off, thinking her visitor was the witch and dared not to show any sign of agony in her presence. Still, if it was indeed the witch, why wouldn't she simply enter and not knock? Curious, Rebecca stood and meandered over to the door, pausing momentarily to press her ear against the crack between door and frame, listening. She heard rapid breathing, but not breathing that sounded winded. It was as if the person standing on the otherside of the door simply had a higher blood pressure or something. She stood back a few inches and cracked open the door. What she saw, the other slave man standing there, somewhat shocked her. Why would he be knocking at her door? She opened the door enough to see him, but braced her foot on the other side of the door as if to block it from opening in case he tried to push through. "May I help you?" she asked reservedly. Vlad shrugged and shook his head, "Not really was just seeing what was up"
