So i got bored tonight and went browsing the interwebs. As you may or may not know I have recently gotten into Magic: The Gathering. During my Wanderings i found this. Naturally, I downloaded the program and made a couple cards. Thoughts? Requests? Let me know, I had fun doing these and plan on doing alot more in the future!

Haha, I like it.. I think it's funny how Wallace either enters the field or returns to the deck. xD
I've never played MTG however.. But I played Yugioh for the longest time and was around Magic for quite some time. I like the anime art in Yugioh a lot more than MTG's ,ore lifelike style. I went to Shonen Jump Championships once, and locals all the time, it was a lot of fun.
I hear MTG only allows like.. the last few sets for decks in standard tournament play. Does that ever get annoying, or do you play in a traditional format?

That... is an awesome program!
... and it doesn't work on Mac. scream I'd like to see the three main Blazing Sword lords as MTG cards, though.

Does that ever get annoying, or do you play in a traditional format? I personally enjoy it more than Yugioh mainly because it's a more simple/straightforward set of rules. The Standard format is the most popular tournament format and legal cards consist of those from the most recent expansion, the current year's core set, and the expansion before that. basically two years worth of cards. i've only been playing since august myself so it's not so much of a big deal for me. i play just about every other friday for friday night magic at my local fantasy shoppe. Most of my playing is casual against friends at my college so it doesn't matter how old your cards are. i have to take a few cards out of my tournament deck so that it actually is standard when i do play which isn't much of a bother for me. Grimalkenkid That... is an awesome program! ... and it doesn't work on Mac. scream I'd like to see the three main Blazing Sword lords as MTG cards, though. that's what you get for using a mac lol razz I was planning on making them anyways along with the rest of the cast of blazing sword but now i will prioritize them.

Yeah, that's not too bad. To me it's kinda weird, because I know in Yugioh most staples came out 5-10+ years ago. But Magic probably doesn't have any essentials that can't easily be replaced. Also, Magic is a whole lot cheaper from what I hear, and it seems when buying a booster pack you get things you can use more often. Man, I wish I knew how to play MTG so I could brainstorm for some ideas for you. I'll try and do some research on the game and maybe I'll get back to ya.

If the notion of Fire Emblem and card games interacting intrigues you, are you aware there actually WAS a Fire Emblem card game? In the 90s. It's just the Akaneia and Jugdral characters, and features some great art of them.

As long as I'm in this thread, may I please make a card request? Two, actually? One for "Karel, Sword Demon" and one for "Karel, Sword Saint". Black/Green and White/Green, respectively. As for power/toughness, mechanics, flavor text........surprise me.
