AT happens centuries after a global nuclear war. Logically that would permanently kill all life on the planet.

AT happens centuries after a global nuclear war. Logically that would permanently kill all life on the planet.
Hell no it wouldn't! Aquatic life would be nearly untouched, areas further away from cities would be less affected, a number of species are atomic energy resistant, and life in many nuclear accident sites begins to thrive waaay sooner than we'd expect.
