Larry gave her his best smile at her compliment of his language. It was what he strived for. To be like his literary idols and have a way with words that only angels could surpass. Ok well he just wanted to be the best. He wanted to be remembered like Byron and Shakesphere. He gave the filly a bow. But he had to remember to be honest with his words, not use them to confuse and confound.

"My lady I will attempt to speak...ah..with less flourish. It is rude to speak in a way that another cannot understand if one is capable. I can also help you learn by showing you the books or explaining a word if you are unfamiliar with it. I do not think it rude; in fact I find it exhil...fun to share my knowledge," he smiled. As he started to continue he looked up at the sun and gasps.

"Alas! It is late in the day and I must return home! Father expects to be prompt so I must be off," he reached out to take Dainty's hoof and gave it a kiss. "Fair maiden, I thank you for reminding me to think of others when I speak. For I wish not to cause confusion. You must come by and visit some time! As you are friends with my sister then it will be most enjoyable. Farewell!"

With that the colt galopped off.
