Shroud wasn't sure how she felt about today's mission--perhaps a little nervous? Being a sidekick, she had gotten use to either going solo[which she preferred to do...a lot], or adjusted to following a more experienced member's orders. Today, however, the roles were somewhat reversed--This time, she was in charge. And she didn't know how she felt about that.
Why trust her to lead at all?
Shroud let out a quiet sigh, hiding in the shadows of an alleyway and out of view of the public. She and her partner were suppose to meet around here, having been tipped off that this "teen villain" was going to strike around the bakery distract next...'What kind of villain tags shops up and steals money?' she thought to herself, 'it just sounds like some punk to me...Ah, well, this should be an easy mission then...Who was I suppose to be partnered with again?'

Avalbane McCarthy ☎xxxxxxxxxxxAvalbane • had been given her second mission; however, this one involved another person. This would be one of the only missions Ava would be able to actually learn from an older student and put her powers to good use.
Ava remembered being given the orders because she was called to the main office over the intercom. This was the first time something like this happened so she was a bit worried at first. When she finally made it to the office, she was given an envelope and debriefed on what she would be doing.
Her trip to the city wasn't too bad. Upon arrival, Ava tried to remember what the instructions had been. She was supposed to meet an older student, a Sidekick and help her with catching a criminal. The criminal was a young teenager known for his vandalism and other annoying tactics. The task itself didn't seem too bad. Avalbane wasn't even sure what vandalism was, but it had to be bad if she was sent out with another student to take care of it. She thought for a moment and was trying to remember the place, it was some kind of alley or something. It shouldn't be too far from her arrival position and she was meeting someone named... Shroud?
As Avalbane headed away from the port, she came upon a building with a large sign, one that read 'McAlister's Deli', that rung a bell in her head and Ava knew that the alley was just a bit ahead. She carefully made her way up past the building and saw the alleyway on the left side of her person. Heading that way she walked down the alley, seeing a dark figure up ahead. Upon getting closer, she saw someone all bundled up and covering almost all of their skin.There was a bit of brown hair that shown but nothing much else. "S-Shroud..?" Avalbane called out as she made her way closer.

Shroud looked up to greet her partner for the day, and to her surprise...it was someone she knew. Who could forget a unique hairstyle as hers? She raised a hand and waved enthusiastically to Ava, calling out:
"Ah hah, I didn't expect you to be here! It's me--" She briefly lowered her mask to reveal herself, before quickly pulling it back up. "You feel ready for this?" she queried, very quickly getting down to business:
"You were probably briefed on this already, but as a recap:
Some punk has been on a little shopping spree this past fortnight, and has been leaving a mess as payment. We got a tip that he's suppose to strike around here next, and so we gotta stop him before he hits another shop. It's some new guy, so we don't know if he's got powers or he's just really that much of a annoyance. Aaaaand no pictures. So, just gotta watch out for anyone that looks like trouble, got it?" She turned her eyes to the street, which was still a little empty this early afternoon...But in about an half hour, it'd be the lunch rush hour. "I'll take the rooftop--you okay on the ground? Just call me over the walkie if you need me."
