Would you say investing in Reverse Panda Hats is a good or bad idea?
I'm new to this whole hoarding thing, and I thought you buys might know?

I wouldnt. There's no real demand for these items and I think it came from a rig. And its not a great idea to hoard rig prizes. Plus, these hats are a mill each and you could be waiting a long time to make some sort of profit from it. It doesnt help that these dont sell well on a regular basis too.

Oh :c
I already have 3 xD
You think I should just try and sell those then?

Could you give me an example of an item I should hoard? (That's not like 11m each)

In my opinion, yes. If you managed to get a good price on all three of the them and can sell them for a profit in the mp, then by all means go ahead! But, if you cant get a profit on them and are either barely breaking even or not even close, I would still sell. 3mill can go into something else worthwhile.

RIGs and advance chances are popular among hoarders, since you can gain quite a bit of profit in a short time. Our current rig seems to be popular and given at least a week for the price to settle, hoarders are going to be after the bundles to hold onto after it leaves the shop.
Dont say no to Advance chances. Since they arrive a couple weeks before turning into the new rig, these offer ample opportunity to gain profit once the new rig arrives. I also advise getting a few Antipathy's. The REI holds potential being Halloween themed, and you can gain some profit buying some now and waiting until Tuesday when it has a mini evo, (or you could hold onto them for Friday whichever works for you).

So it's better to hold the RIGs instead of the items from the RIG xD
But do RIGs that are month old, do they still sell at a good price? Like let's say I have a Digital Rainbow Bundle, are people still into them? Or do RIGs lose their appeal once they leave the shop and a new one comes along?
These are like short term investments? (I'm sorry for being difficult!)

Oh you're not being difficult at all! ^^
And yes it better to hold the rig, than the prizes themselves. The prizes are always subject to re-release. What was only 1mill a few months ago might have dwindled to 100k. Now, RIGs are short term investments. Its a generally accepted rule to hold onto them about 2 to 3 months after their release. The longer you wait, the harder it is for a RIG to sell. Even if the profit accumulating is incredible. Sure, you might have someone willing to buy a Digital Rainbow bundle, but dont expect it to be flying off the shelf the minute you list it. I know some hoarders also hold on to rigs that are even more than a year old, but I personally dont do it. In my opinion, its best to hold unto the current rig, hold unto it for awhile and if you like the profit you're making, go on and sell.

Okay I am totally going to do that then. It sounds like it's easy and profitable! n_n
Now, what's an example of a long term investment?
I did read all the threads on this in this Guild too, and I guess I'm just confused.

Its easy once you get in the habit of buying and selling RIGs. And it is profitable. Just to let you know, rigs do have their own rate of accumulating profit. Popular RIGs tend to have a quick and steady price increase as time goes on. Unpopular RIGs tend rise very slowly. Study a current RIGs price as it progresses throughout the month. Also, checking out the forums to see the public's input on the rig is also a good measure on whether or not the RIG is worth the time and money. And go with your gut instinct!

Long term investments? Personally, I dont do much with long term investments but I can safely say that regular EI's (like the 7.49 or 9.99) would fall under this category. Monthly collectibles and cash shop bundles (not the rigs) would also fall under this category. Now, I think opinion differs between hoarders on whether or not MCs are worth it these days. For starters MCs are hit or miss on the 15th. Depending on the item, you could be losing money or making money. Its risky. I would gather more opinion on that matter if I were you, since I dont want to risk giving you bad information. ^^; But overall, you have to go with your gut instinct and decide what you want to do.

Well you seem to know your stuff, so I think your opinion means a ton to me right now xD
I'm going to stick with short term investments then!
Maybe when I become more experienced I'll try long term...
Thanks so much! you really helped me out a lot

You're welcome! Im glad my advice helped. Everything I told you is all from trial and error, having to cut my losses, experimentation and above all taking chances. As well as paying a bit more attention to what the MP is doing. Dont be afraid to take risks (even if you're worried about losing money it happens to every vendor/hoarder out there at some point) and just find a gold-making system that works for you. :3
