Personality: Kaida is a flirt, plain and simple. Having grown up in one of the poorest districts in the Rukongai, she quickly learned that flirting can get you pretty much anything if you’re good at it. She’s also a big partier and in her free time she can be found out at bars in the Rukongai having fun with complete strangers. She’s very loyal to her friends and is one of those people that doesn’t believe in sugar coating the truth. Bakudou:
1. Sai (塞, Restrain)
Locks a target's arms in place behind their back.

Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.

Techniques:
Shunpo (Flash Step)
A movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. The user forces a stream of energy in front of them, along a path of their choosing, then takes one step into the stream. They are then propelled exceptionally fast through the stream to reappear at the opposite side. Whilst in the stream it is very hard to spot the user's movements unless you are an equal or higher rank.
Air Walk
The ability to walk on air using spiritual energy. By collecting and solidifying Spiritual Particles beneath their feet, Soul Reapers can gain traction on thin air to either freely move about or to stop themselves from falling.
Idou Senkou (Flash Movement)
This technique is actually quite simple for those who have conditioned their body for high-speed combat movements and have a decent level of control over their Reiatsu. Idou Senkou is a technique that can be used by channeling your Reiatsu through a specific part of the body to increase the muscular reaction impulses so that the user may move that part of the body at speeds that rival Shunpo (Flash Step).

Abilities: Gyōko-zai (Coagulant): By cutting herself with her own weapon Kagehebi excretes a coagulant, slowing the bleeding of any sustained wounds
Attacks:
• Hitokuchi o Mahi (Paralyzing Bite): Kagehebi excretes a paralytic and if it enters the blood stream, the opponent slowly becomes unable to move. This starts with the area closest to the wound and radiates outwards.
• Ketsueki Shin’na (Blood Thinner): By using this attack Kagehebi becomes coated in a highly concentrated blood thinner which enters the blood stream of her opponent via wounds inflicted. This creates a severe increase in bleeding, increasing blood loss from even the smallest of wounds.
• Eshi (Necrosis): Kagehebi becomes coated in a poison that causes necrosis. If an opponent is cut while this is active, the poison enters the blood stream and steadily destroys the tissue surrounding the wound. The more time that passes after being cut the faster the poison spreads to other areas of the body.

• Kiba no Kumon (Fang of Anguish): If hit when this is active the target experiences excruciating pain at the site of the wound. The toxin that enters the body when struck increases sensitivity to pain in other parts of the body.
• Shinfuzen (Heart Stopper): In order for this attack to work, Kaida must strike her opponent's heart. If successful her opponent's heart stops instantly. Midori has only used this once since achieving bankai, since the attack completely drains her reiatsu.

Background History: Kaida spent the better part of her childhood living on the streets of Kusajishi with her older brother Ryota. Life could’ve definitely been worse, but Ryota’s position in one of the many gangs that plagued the district gave the siblings a few luxuries that most others could only dream of having. Growing up with a brother in a gang enabled Kaida to develop many skills that would help her later on in her life. She stole whenever she could, her main targets being rival gangs and the occasional soul reaper that passed through. For living in one of the poorest districts Kaida had a pretty nice childhood
The master thief’s life was turned upside down shortly after she turned 16. In a brawl against another local gang her brother was killed. She eventually took her brother’s place as one of the lead enforcers of Ryota's gang.
At age 20 she organized and led the eradication of the gang that had killed her brother. It was at this time that she had her first encounter with a hollow. As far as hollows go, the monster was pathetic. Even so the creature managed to wipe out her entire gang before turning its attention to her. As it was about to deal a killing blow she was saved by a team of soul reapers that had come to deal with the disturbance. It was then that Kaida decided she never wanted to need help protecting herself again.
Six months after the destruction of her gang, Kaida entered the Shinigami Academy. Throwing herself into her studies she managed to become the one of the top students in the advanced class. Her skill in things such as plant identification and the making of medicines had many believing she would enter the fourth division after graduation. Upon learning that she was much more proficient in the creating of poisons combined with her skill in stealth she was accepted into the second division immediately after graduation.
She spent 25 years working her way up the ladder and eventually became the lieutenant of the second division. During that time she became a master in the art of stealth as well as a deadly assassin and interrogator. She’s very protective of her fellow squad members and will go out of her way to make sure that new recruits are adjusting well to the second division environment.
