Not to sound like a downer..but he was 11th in standings...his title shot was done already... Which I think is why he is ok with missing these 2 races...

He still had some shot, though very slim. But what can we do....and here I was ready to throw a huge party in case he won the title cat_sad

I hope Dale has a good year this season. It was great to see him winning last year. Kinda sucks to see Letarte stepping down though, he really helped junior out during his time as his crew chief.

Good to see junior back in victory lane this year. I know a few of us had some concerns when Ives took over as crew chief but he's doing good.
