Dea's Basics
 Hello, my name is Marchioness Deanna Cordelia Elwyn Drake of the Holdings of Arys Vale. I know that is probably a mouthful for most people to say, so my friends and family call me Dea. I know it is hard to believe, but I am what people would call a halfling, because I have a combination of human and elf blood running through my veins. Most people who do not know me would assume I am only human, but that is because my elven ears are usually hidden under my hair where they cannot usually be found. I am thirty-two years old and am the wife of one of the knights of the kingdom, Alddrion Drake. I am also the eldest child of quadruplets, which was quite a blessing on my family.
I am one of the old nobility because my ancestors on my father's side were around when King Alarein created the beautiful city of Avandere. My family has always been close to the royal family, including my father who was considered one of King Vandrian's best friends. I and my siblings are also close to the royal family, having known King Azreth since he was little. Azreth is like a little brother to me and I have a tendency to be very protective of him.
These are just the basics of who I am, so you have a better understanding of me. In these next few pages, you will find out about my powers, my talents, my specialties, my history, and what I am like.

 Dea's History I suppose you would like to hear a little more about who I am and where I come from, right? Well, it all began once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away...oh, I guess I am just joking with you on that. Anyway, I could start with talking about back when our kingdom was built, but that is probably going back a little too far. So we will start with when my father and mother first met and fell in love....
Now, most elves are not usually part of nobility, since the king's family are humans. My mother was one of the exceptions because she did something to get into the good graces of not only my father, but of King Vandrian as well. For you see, there was a threat on the king's life, an assassin had been sent to kill him. While the king was out greeting his subjects one day, a knife came sailing through the air, aimed right at the king's back, right where his heart would be. A beautiful elf with sky blue hair jumped in the way and the knife embedded itself in the woman's shoulder. The king turned in time to see the woman fall and was just about to catch her, when his adviser stepped in to catch the fair maiden. They took her to the castle and watched over her as she healed. The adviser, whose name was Marquess Thaddeus Winters started to fall for the elven woman.
Thaddeus learned the woman came from Aelfweard and was a princess from that kingdom and that her name was Alvena Elwyn. It was foretold that Alvena would need to go on a journey, to discover who she was meant to be. She had been on this journey when she had saved the king's life and it seemed fate had chosen her path for her.
Thaddeus and Alvena started to fall in love in the coming months, soon becoming nearly inseparable. Soon, the two of them got married and they took Alvena's last name, so she and any of their children would still be connected to their elven roots. Alvena became one of the healers of the kingdom and a trusted adviser to the king. Then after she and Thaddeus had been married for a year, the happy couple was blessed with quadruplets, my siblings and I.
