Ok, so one of my friends in high school had a writing assignment to write about someone special. I must show off what they wrote, because I'm an egotistical b*****d.
"I have a friend, her name is _______. I call her ______ but she'd rather have the name Semok Peacemaker. She is special to me because she is different. _____ is the type of person who thinks outside of the box and is always up for a fun time! She studies psychology and is very smart. _____ is not like most typical girls, she's not into make-up, fashion or raving boy bands. What I like most about _____ is that she is not inconsiderate, self-centered or selfish; she's caring, dependable and unforgettable. When I first met her, I never thought she'd ever be one of my best friends. You'll think she's weird, but she's a cool weird. She'll make you laugh and tell you fun-facts. If you ever need help, she'll be there to help & if you ever need someone to talk to, she'll be the one to listen. _____ is like a sister to me."
I've eliminated where she wrote my real name, since I'm not a fan of it, but the rest is word-for-word. My friends are so awesome. whee

Thats nice someone wrote something about you. Lucky. And I don't understand why this assignment was assigned, stalker teacher? Maybe? All in all you've got some great buddies.

And I'm guessin' it was just a short assignment to get the students to write short paragraphs. I mean, they could have written about anyone special.
And my buddies are the best. To me, they're family.

But as a writing assignment... not great. I became really aware of the simplistic writing style partway through.

Yesterday we celebrated her birthday at the Renaissance Festival. I got her a giant sparkly pink bag filled with various junk foods that her sister said she liked. I also got her a Justin Beiber birthday card. xd
