wuthering heightsFE Nick the Knack I voted for Gary Johnson and Jim Gray, the Libertarian nominees for President and Vice President. Frankly, I didn't see much difference between Romney and Obama. The only thing they seemed to really disagree on was gay rights (which I 100% support and can't find myself to vote for anyone who doesn't to some degree at least). Romney would continue Obama's wars, he wouldn't do a thing about the debt (Ryan's budget plan is a joke - it doesn't decrease spending at all, just projected increases in spending), he (like Obama) wouldn't even think about interfering with the Federal Reserve, they both support the "Patriot" Act, the 2013 NDAA (which includes language allowing the President to indefinitely detain American citizens with virtually no just cause), and you can't trust a word either of them say because they both contradict themselves constantly. Totally support gay rights as well. Wishing some Republicans could see the damn light on the issue. For me Romney was a joke if John McCain ran I could have voted for him not this "binders full of women" candidate If I could tip guild posts blaugh

We are better off with Obama than Romney. Obama sucks, but Romney would have been worse. We need a sustainable government budget which Obama will never support, but as a former economics major I understand that we could not afford that if we decreased government spending dramatically during our current recessionary economic conditions. We would have had another recession or possibly even a depression. A proper budget needs to wait a year or two.
I 100% support all gay rights, but it's not a major issue for me because all gay rights are inevitable since the only major demograpic opposed to gay rights is old people who will pass away in the coming decades. Also, no-body really dies from lack of Gay marriage. As a Republican I believe in the freedom every able-bodied American has to build a wonderfull life for themselves through strength of character. Gay people know they are right, so why do they obsess over what a bunch of homophobic losers think of them hundreds of miles away (I live in California)?
However, my biggest concern with Romney is I don't think he has the strength of charecter to handle international relations effectively. Business is the answer to all our problems, not government. Americans are tough enterprising people who are carrying america out of this recessionary period despite the craziness going on in washington. The only thing that could stop businesses from saving us is a nuclear war. The USA will never be a world dominating power again because business is eliminating international poverty so fast. Even Africa is on the fast track to success now that sweatshops made the massive poorest sector of the Chinese population so wealthy that China needs to outsource sweatshops to Africa. It is of the utmost imortance that the USA handles our waning power gracefully. I trust Obama to do a good enough job with this. I absolutely don't trust Romney.
I can't believe the Republican Party let us down so thoroughly in this election. How can we have decided Romney was the best republican in the whole country?
