Okay so I like this guy and he is 28. I known him for some month and he likes me back alot. Idc that he is older then me really. I tried guys my age and a like 2 years younger and they all are really immature and treated me like s**t. Ill be 20 in janurary. So do you think my mom will flip when she finds out? Shes protective.

Personally i don't think thats a big gap at all. It's not like your 15 anymore, now that your (near enough) in your twenties it's kind of your own decision. Its more important to find a guy you like then to worry about age. Id be freaked out if he was like 60 xp but 28 is nothing. I'd consider that a normal age to go for. I'm also twenty and i would never date a 20 year old guy. and all my friends are the same. If your unsure how your mum would take it, maybe just take it slow with this guy at first and don't tell her till your certain you'r gunna be dating for a while. I'm sure she'll be fine with it if she knows you like him and he makes you happy.

To me, that's a big age gap. What does a 28 year old man want with a 19 year old? It doesn't seem like that's a super mature thing for him to do!!

I don't think that it's that big of a gap. My dad is 15 years older than my mother. My fiancee is 10 years older than me. I don't see the big deal in age though. As long as they treat you well and love you.
I don't know your mom so I can't tell you what her reaction is going to be. But just because this guy is older doesn't mean he is going to be mature and treat you right. It doesn't always depend on age, but rather the person and their personality.
