*spittake* He looks like that, yet he's walking around in a feather-head beanie?

I personally find that beanie less irksome than this hair, and when you consider it's a hat, it's not THAT out there.

But I'm gettting used to the new protag's hair anway, so it's 'meh'.

Also: The new Nimbasa Gym. Best. Change. EVER. I've never had so much fun at a Gym before.

Everstone now has a 100% chance of passing down the nature of either parent holding. C: This is the most important change in my opinion.. I've gone through over 10 eggs in a row just trying to get the nature to pass down when it was 50% chance... That's a load of crap.

Breeding mechanics in general are a whole lot better. Incubators and now abilities can be passed down. Breeding really needed some fixes to make it easier. Glad it finally got some.

As for the actual playthrough, I'm definitely gonna use Growlithe, just love him. And he gets Outrage by level up which is neat. I'll probably start with Oshawott since I did Snivy once and Tepig once. Tepig's always bugged me because for the longest time his Base Power for the moves he gets by level up are low. Then he gets a bunch of crap that's inaccurate and has recoil. And he's slow unless you use Flame Charge.. Snivy only learns grass attacks mainly which blows hard. Oshawott is looking like the bomb to me now.

One last note, I'm super excited that a lot of in game pokemon learn their moves quicker. Before, it made Leafeon utterly useless in gameplay because it doesn't learn Leaf Blade until past level 70. So you had to work with its much inferior Special Attack. Which, it's highly unlikely you'll hit level 70 until after the E4. And yeah, Leafeon only gets Grass type moves mainly, but it does get Swords Dance and Quick Attack which can do some work.

All in all I'm very excited about this game. Not sure which I'll end up getting. Tied between Black 2's scenery which is my preference, but White has Reuniclus and my White version broke while my Black remains. One last thing; I really hope wifi battles will be fixed. Making us train to level 100 again ruined it for me. Once you finish EV training you should be good to go.

The new Breeding Mechanics. I LOVE. I go through enough eggs for genetically perfected 31 IV pokemon to identify as a poke-eugenicist. And it's easier to get the ability you want off the mother too - if it's not a DW ability and the pokemon has two possible abilities, there's an 80% chance the offspring will have the same ability as the mother. Also very convenient.

The Nursery on Join Avenue is a huge boon too for hatching. But getting to Rank 15 to make it even available is very irksome. I'm only at Rank 4 right now and leveling it up will only get slower. I spend so much ******** time breeding so I'm thrilled to do it all on Black 2 and save hours of effort.

Beat the game on Wednesday morning. The game isn't exactly longer than any other by much, but my pokemon were nearing or in the 60s without me ever grinding. That's never happened for me before (Lucky Egg helped a lot with it, though, as it did in Black 1).

And unless you plan on doing some trading, Leafeon is post-game only. Admittedly, there wasn't a Water Stone available in-game soon enough so I traded one over so I could use Vaporeon, myself.

Yes, this change for breeding was much needed, glad someone else appreciates as much as I do. ^ ^

As for Leafeon, I didn't actually plan on using that one in particular, just as an example how Pokemon learn all their moves at lower levels. Before some Pokemon really needed a move they wouldn't learn until a way higher level.

And I wouldn't feel bad about the Water Stone thing. I transferred a Shiny Stone to evolve my Togetic in SS. I don't want to wait to evolve it until I'm done with the game, because Togetic will just become a dead weight. But I did wait to evolve it until about the 8th Gym. Because I feel it needs the extra power at that point. And yeah, was so glad they give you a Lucky Egg, catching Chansey non-stop was far too tedious at a 5% chance. (Though, it might just be because there is no Pokemon that holds it in B/W playthroughs)

Haven't progressed past Roxie, currently stuck in the beautiful beautiful place that is Pokestar.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these 100+ lemonades, 35 Moomoo Milks, 15 Lava Cookies, and 20 Hyper Potions.

I really love the hell out of this addition. Finally a side-venture that sounds good in theory and is fun in practice!
