Coffee.
Chocolate.
Cigarettes.
That's what I want right now. My dad's doctor basically told me to issue a DNR (do not resuscitate) on my dad because he's old and damaged. :-/
I refused, but I get it. If he's going to keep getting sick it'd be drawing it out unnecessarily... but that's *his* choice to make...
I really feel like crap.

I think I agree to the first two, though I don't smoke.
I suppose his doctor might be thinking about health costs, but that's still not a very appropriate thing to say. Not from a medical person, or anyone really.
Go have a smoke while walking to get some chocolate. Coffee i wouldn't suggest this late in the day, but that's just me. Drink some though if it'll make you feel better.

Well, coffee contains caffeine. I guess I could have generalized...
I was working till 9pm last night, so I could have done with a coffee, but I didn't. Nor did I have cigarettes. Just one piece of super dark chocolate someone had left in the rehearsal hall.
Any healthcare cost motivation would only be from the government's side, since it's free for us. And when he's not in the hospital with an infection & just in an assisted living facility, it's max $1750/month for a private room with all food supplies etc etc paid for. Which is covered by his pensions, thankfully. His having worked ~25-30 years each in the US & Canada has left him with an actually livable income.
I've got my first coffee of the day. Packing my cigs in my bag. And will pick up chocolate on my way to work.
First day in the theatre today whee ...

Your weird, you are probably gonna like look really old. Like when you turn 30 you will probably look like your 40 or something. I wish I could smoke and drink coffee, it'd make me look older so I won't get carded.
I wonder if alcohol makes you look older.
