A bat swooped down to the empty night streets of Haze city for the first time in it's life and it landed as a girl standing tall with large blue eye, short black hair, all black close other then her red and black stockings, and even black natral lips. She had never been in a town before, never been in a human world before. She looked around. "Hello? Anybody there?" She still didn't know how other cilivations worked and felt the need to explore alittle. As she walked around she then cought sight of her first human. A small boy that came from another road that led to another castle. He and his cat it seemed. She smiled and walked forword, "hi. I'm new." She stuck out her hand for a handshake.

Shortstraw looked to the strange... really energetic girl and shook her hand. "Um... hello. Who... are you?" He replied then chukkled, "You must be a new traviler it the town huh." he nodded, "The inns over there. They are cheep and all that lovly stuff. And well... up theres the castle... but nothings really going on up therer right now." He nodded.

Asher looked up to the strange girl. Asher knew what she was, although just by first appearances, it looked like she didn't fit the bill. She really didn't know why Shortstraw made Asher come along for this, although she wasn't in the position to complain. When such a person keeps you from burning in the fires of hell for all eternity, you've got to learn to be grateful, demon or not. Although she wondered how this girl was going to fit in to this plush lifestyle of coexistence. Asher didn't speak at this point, either. Just kept to Shortstraw's side.

*The girl smiled noticing he was uncomfortable. "Oh thankyou. But i'm really just kinda looking for a freind. My name is Soflora. I'm a vampire, but i've been locked away for most of my life. Todays my first day out on my own." He clapped and nodded with a smiled and sense of pride. "Whats your name?" She then spotted asher, "OH you have a kitty!" She started to reach down to pet asher to show she was just trying to be freindly. Needless to say she was a innocent girl, but was unsure how the world worked or was just yet.*

Shortstraw quickly replied, "Don't messes with Asher Please." He replied in a rush. He didn't want to let her get to close to asher, he was afrade how asher might react more then the girl. He guessed no one could just touch asher but him and keria, like a trust thing. But as he saw her snatch back and appligize he smiled, "It's okay. My name is Shorstraw. This is Asher." He nodded, "Your one of the first vampires i've been near. So thats kinda cool. But... if it really is true and it's you first time out here... rule number one is not to just walk up to random people like that. There are alot of bad people just like there are good. Think of us as nutral though." He chukkled.

*She took in the information. "Oh. Well my daddy beleaves all people are bad so i sorta disbelived him." She nodded, as somhow they started walking down the path. "And sorry about that kitty, is was just trying to be freindly." She nodded happily still, "Well i'm diffrent then most other vampires, i'm a pure blood." She giggled, "Shortstraw? No offence but thats a odd name. More like a name that makes fun of short people... that can't be your real name can it?" Fact was though to her he was short. And she relized it halfway though, she was as tall as keria almost... almost.*

*Shortstraw chukkled as they walked. "Well i don't have a name really other then that. I like it. My girlfreind gave it to me and... well it stuck." He laughed. "And it's okay i sorta expect that. Durring my training for the past two years before i got back, the other people were all making fun of my name and stuff. I'm used to it. But i like the name. So whats the diffrence from a pure blood anyways?"

*She shrugged, "Well a pure blood is... um... well we can do more then the other vampires. My daddy and I are the only ones of the pure blood left. Even I don't know all the stuff we can do." She giggled and nodded, "Well it is still nice to mee tyou Mr Shorstraw. And you too Asher... although i'm not sure if thats a boys or a girls name." She shrugged, "i do hope we can be freinds. I meanno harm, just wanting to learn about the world."

*Shortstraw shrugged. "Well it's nice to mee tyou to Soflora. I do like your name, has a ring to it." He chukkled, "But Asher and I got some things to do. So we will have to meet again later. We'll be around town, most of the time we are." He nodded as he turned around and waved starting down a new path toword the marshes. "Just be carful, don't go walking around and randomly asking people things." He chukkled and turned around looking to Asher. "What did you think of her." Now it was just the two of them headed home.

Asher shrugged as she walked. "Seems innocent enough. Not exactly an evil mastermind. Although that's probably not what you were thinking anyway. Sorry. I tend to jump to conclusions about most Yokai. Stereotypes and all that." Her tail curled then stretched. "Although i'm sure we're going to be seeing more of her, anyway."

*Shortstraw nodded, "She was nice." He chukkled, "But i feel like everyone is so tall! Other then you." He smerked, "In that form anyways." He nodded as the cabin came into view, "Alright that simple demon is gone, so maybe we will get to see what keria up to. Probably sleeping."
