I desperately need help with my Panty cosplay - the con is at the end of the month, and because of work ... I haven't even started!! Eeeep!! (Getting a Cinderella complex, here!!)



I'm not too concerned about the shoes, since I can either find red shoes or white shoes and paint them red. For the buckle ... well, I live in a city that celebrates arts and crafts, so there's speciality stores on every corner, haha. I'm also not concerned about the hair, since I have nearly the same colour and the exact same length - no wigs! Yay!

But the dress ... I'm nervous, haha. It's silly, but I'm terrible at following patterns, and I'm pretty a**l about how precise my cosplays are, so I'd much rather make my own pattern. But I've looked around for suggestions on making my own dress pattern, and - I don't know if I'm getting overwhelmed or just picky - but I've come up nil.

ANY suggestions here would help - either a site on how to follow patterns, or a site that tells me how to make a spaghetti-strap dress, or even telling me the steps I have to take! I feel like I can start thinking about the things I need to do for the pattern, but then I get lost in my own thought process. :S

Remember to tease your hair to get it volumized so that you don't look too flat

And thank you very much for not suggesting for me to buy a wig, like everyone else has - I'm poor and the con is in 3 weeks, so it's like ... "nope, can't really do that." XD I will definitely tease it! Never even thought to do that. smile
