Expansion

Boom! The dynamite blows,
a fiery hole in a mountain out west.
Manifest Destiny, our god given right,
take from others what we want-
and kill those who fight.

Ping! Goes the pick as it busts another
rock,
the granite cave in their wake,
echoes the cries coming from
those left behind.

Bam! Goes the hammer with a mighty swing.
Driving the spike deep into the track,
The railroad comes through.
Pulling our future forward
through a hole in a mountain out west.
