In the Nursery is where unhatched Pokemon eggs along with newborns will be kept safely in a room under the care of Kangaskhan.
Eggs that are left by your Pokemon in the Daycare Will be in the nursery until you arrive and decide to either take the egg or leave it behind for another trainer to pick it up and claim it their own.
Abandoned Eggs For the unfortunate eggs that were left behind..they will remain in the Daycare until someone decides to pick it up or till it's strong enough to be released into the wild.
When interested in picking up or claiming a egg please talk to Kangaskhan or one of the fellow breeders to assist you. They will guide to to the eggs that are available.
