Well, recently I've been noticing I've been having trouble switching focus from short range to far range. For example, I will be sitting in class and I get a little behind notes, so I have to shuffle to keep up, so I switch focus from the board to my notes to copy what's been written recently. I've been finding that my eyes just won't focus on far-away focal points easily. They will eventually, but when switching it takes quite longer than normal, up to maybe 5-7 seconds. However, when initially seeing something far away, I have no problem keeping focus on the object and I have very defined site when this is the case.
Any suggestions for myself? Should I just go and see an optician?

Is one eye weaker then the other? That could explain why the blurriness doesn't stick around, but happens when you shift your focus from near/far.
