I was a heavy heart to carry My beloved was weighed down My arms around his neck My fingers laced to crown.
I was a heavy heart to carry My feet dragged across ground And he took me to the river Where he slowly let me drown
My love has concrete feet My love's an iron ball Wrapped around your ankles Over the waterfall
I'm so heavy, heavy Heavy in your arms I'm so heavy, heavy Heavy in your arms
And is it worth the wait All this killing time? Are you strong enough to stand Protecting both your heart and mine?
Who is the betrayer? Who's the killer in the crowd? The one who creeps in corridors And doesn't make a sound
My love has concrete feet My love's an iron ball Wrapped around your ankles Over the waterfall
My love has concrete feet My love's an iron ball Wrapped around your ankles Over the waterfall
I'm so heavy, heavy Heavy in your arms I'm so heavy, heavy So heavy in your arms
This will be my last confession I love you never felt like any blessing (Ohhhh) Whispering like it's a secret Only to condemn the one who hears it With a heavy heart
Heavy heavy i'm so heavy in your arms (i'm so) Heavy heavy i'm so heavy in your arms (i'm so) Heavy heavy i'm so heavy in your arms (i'm so) Heavy heavy i'm so heavy in your arms
I was a heavy heart to carry my beloved was weighed down My arms around his neck My fingers laced to crown
I was a heavy heart to carry But he never let me down When he had me in his arms My feet never touched the ground
Tayce x Cae - batch of tasty cakes ------- Too many cooks in the kitchen. 5-star dining reservations... ---------- tayce & cae still on omega, saving up for moving to the citadel get call that there's an appointment opening in two weeks, ask if they want it. Would mean cae would have to stay on omega for awhile since it will cost their whole savings to move Tayce in time to snag it
next appointment is almost a year away...

I'm so heavy... While out on a contract, Cae gets wounded. Really wounded. And Tayce has to break her 'no-kill' policy to get them out alive. And then carry the big lug back home.
No amount of time in the shower is going to get that grimy feel off of her skin this time though...
UPDATE The Contract was a set up, looked like a few humans were being called in for some sort of deal. Turns out the other humans were hired in a double deal by an 'unknown' group of Batarians.
(Insult to injury, since it was humans that are attacking Tayce and Cae, and humans she ends up killing; though it's technically Batarians at work)
That Batarian Cae shot at the warehouse? His dad is of the Warrior Caste, and when he impregnated a slave caste female (not uncommon in their society), but instead of dealing with this in the usual methods (killing the female slave, selling her like livestock now that she'll 'calf' and might be worth more, or ignoring the pregnancy; since all born of a slave female are automatically raised as slaves) he 'sells' the slave to a Raider Caste heading for Omega, under the pretense that he take care of the female. In exchange, he'll send a small stipend monthly, to cover expenses and buy the Raider's loyalty.
Bribery being a common and everyday affair in Batarian society.
So, the female gives birth, and the Raider takes care of her and her son because of the money that they bring in through the baby-daddy.
Kid grows up, is 'Raider' class like his dad, never knowing the slave that lives with the Raiders is his actual mom. (If it was acknowledged, that would make him a slave as well by Caste system dictation)
Starts taking his own contracts, stuff that should be easy to keep himself outta trouble annnnnd
Winds up dead.
So, now. Is it his real father, off on Karsharn, that's funding the group looking to spill Cae's blood, or is it the Raider care-taker and his little group for the sudden loss of his cushy funds? Hmmmmm... ------------------------------------------- If I just click my heels 3 times.
Hoooooooooooooooooooooooome :< Tayce gets homesick in the worst way, and nothing Cae does seems to help...
Might be a good chance to work on her backstory, and their communication skills.

Gimmie Shelter
Tayce realizes she can't freeload forever, and starts planning on leaving. She's had no luck figuring out how to get home, can't really 'talk' to anyone here, and can see Cae is struggling as it is just to keep the lights on.
Not wanting to be a burden, she makes to leave and Cae stops her. That she could work contracts with him, and it'll be ok. That she could stay with him if she wants... since, ya'know... easier to pay for one apartment. Annnnd Tayce doesn't really know how to get around on Omega.
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd maybe just maybe he doesn't really wanna see her leave.
Since, ya'know, not like he has feelings or nothin' but Kinda likes coming home and knowing she's there. And maybe he's been a little curious to find out what her lips taste like.
And can't forget how she looked wearing his shirt...
oh dear

This One would like a piece of cake
Tayce gets her hands on an old Hanar voder, cheap. Which results in hilarious.
She learns that there's a surgery she could undergo that would implant a chip in her brain that would recognize when she was formulating words and relate the data to a program on her omnitool, which would speak for her.
But s**t that's expensive, and heck no she's not doing some back alley brain surgery on Omega.

Here, you take one!
(Perhaps best for the second 'batch')
Her arms full, Tayce pawns off one of her offspring on Kar and Aella for a week, which ends with hilarious consequences of a "their species does what?" and cooking odd combinations of food that don't make sense since they have NO CLUE what they're doing.
Gives great development for the offspring, and might give Kar and Aella something to talk about while they wait for the arrival of their own little ones...

Penance
Takes place after I'm So Heavy...
Tayce breaks down, doesn't want Cae looking at her after the event (I think... she'll call a doctor at the end of I'm So Heavy, and lock herself in the bedroom. ....... There's a lowly contract, the credits wouldn't even cover the bullets, but it's all the family has. It's a contract to take save a human girl stolen and sold into slavery by Batarians. Tayce takes it, feeling that it's her penance for taking lives.
(Could potentially bring in a random female into our fold, increasing the world size) .................. Tayce has issues with killing, besides the obvious implications of ending someone's life, it makes her feel like a monster, like she was crafted and created to be a tool and nothing more, which is essentially what the Spartan's were made for.
It's also why she acts childish or tries her best not to think of the past, or even worry too much. She tries to just live, because it's as defiant as she can be towards the whole Spartan program.
(Holy s**t, had no idea she was that deep, she just told me this early today)
