★Thousands of years ago an Indian tribe in the Midwest United States worshiped animal spirits, and believed they could inhabit the human body. The belief was so strong, that soon the tribal elders began to place enchantments on newborn babies, in hopes that a strong animal spirit might manifest itself in one of the offspring. Years went by with no manifestations of the endowed animal spirits in the children the tribal elders had chosen, and soon people began to lose faith. It wasn't until sixteen years later that things started to change for the tribe. The animal spirits began to manifest in the children. From that day on the elders enchanted every known animal spirit into the newborns for the next hundreds of years. The ancestors of those blessed with an animal spirit shall have a manifestation of their own years later during an age where society is less than accepting.
☆In the elite city of Clarkfield a new governor has taken control. He despises the humans born with an animal spirit and so, for the past thirty years, all humans who are born with an animal trait are cast out into a town set up outside the city. These humans are not allowed to step foot into the city. They all wear ID markers embedded into their skin so they can be kept track of and dealt with should they try to enter the city. Clarkfield will provide just the barest of rations to Clearwater, where the 'mutated' humans are required to live. Guards are posted at every possible entrance into Clarkfield and are ordered to shoot to kill. No one knows where the governor's hatred of these special humans comes from, but most are afraid to rally against him.
★Now, the humans of Clearwater are starting to talk, starting to want equality with Clarkfield, and starting to plan an assault on the city to take back what they have lost. They may have a special ability, but that doesn't mean they're outcasts. They want to show the people of Clarkfield that they are deserving of a real life, but certain death awaits them if they try to enter the city. They need someone on the inside willing to lend a helping hand, and that helping hand might actually come from the daughter of the governor himself.
☆Together, those humans of Clearwater willing to fight for a better way of life might have a chance of taking on Clarkfield with the help of the governor's daughter, but is she hiding a secret of her own? Secrets will be revealed, lives will be lost, and things will change, are you up for a battle?

★Clarkfield is the epitome of sleek, new technology. Their streets are immaculately clean, buildings stream lined, catering to only the richest and most powerful. The buildings tower high over the streets with glossy windows and immaculately carved arches. Clarkfield is one of the richest cities in the United States with the strictest laws. They only allow people who are influential with deep pockets residence. There are no animals allowed in the city, so all anyone will find here are humans, pure blooded humans. The governor himself lives in Tower Island, the most prestigious place of residence in Clarkfield. The towering building is filled with penthouses, and in the middle of the ground floor is a large garden area where residents can meet and walk around for a sense of being outside. Overall, Clarkfield is the elitist of cities left in the United States with strict admittance to outsiders.

☆Clearwater is the community five miles south of Clarkfield that is home to all humans born with an animal spirit. It's only been in existence for thirty years, a place deep in the woods that surround Clarkfield. Clearwater isn't made up of much, but what the citizens that inhabit it have formed. They were given few tools when first banished, and so they had to fend for themselves. They created homes and communities with their own hands using what the woods provided. Every Wednesday a shipment from Clarkfield will arrive. The shipment is just barely enough for the people of Clearwater to survive on, so they rely on hunting and gathering. Resources around the small city are becoming scarce and the governor of Clarkfield could care less. The lake that lies to the east of Clearwater is starting to dry up. Guards are posted around Clearwater, but don't do much more than terrorize a few residents when they feel bored, unless one tries to make a break for Clarkfield, then they are executed.

★First and Foremost, Follow Gaia Rules and Guidelines for RP'ing. We don't want anyone getting banned/punished for bad conduct/cyber.
☆If the first rule wasn't clear enough, please take Cyber somewhere else. We don't mind if you do, just don't forget about the real RP too. ^^ And Romance is definitely welcome.
★Malzysaur is in charge around here, and I won't tolerate any disrespect among RPers or towards myself. I am a very nice and understanding person.
☆Have fun and please be active! I know people have real-life situations, I understand, and just notify me if you will be gone. I don't expect you to post every day, but as much as you are able, I would love you to be around and posting, or at least chatting it up with us in the OOC so we know you are alive.
★This will be a real pictures only RP. Please try to stay away from big time celebrities. Deviantart is a great place to find real pics.
☆This is a Semi-lit to Lit RP. Please post at least a solid paragraph, if not more (We definitely welcome more! It helps the RP move smoother and then we don't get stuck cuz of small posts)
★At the bare minimum, try to post 3 times a week. That shouldn't be too difficult right?
☆PM all profiles to Malzysaur. Please label your pm with 'I'm an Animal' if you are a human with a spirit animal. Or title them "I am Human' if you are going to be a human in Clarkfield. I'm hoping to get RPers on both sides of the law. Reserves will last 2 days, maybe 3 if I'm feeling gracious.

★The humans with spirit animals can change at will into whatever their spirit animal is. Now, just so there is a healthy balance of animals, I am only allowing up to three of any kind of animal. For example, there will only be three wolves, three bears, three lions, three parrots, and so on. you get the idea. You can choose any animal you want.
