  ✥ Demon ✥ Darkness Manipulation ✥ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Looking down at the state his apprentice was in, Divine would show no signs of compassion or understanding. Pointing at Atticus' chest Divine would speak, "I am here because your soul summoned me and now I see why." he said as he knelled down and looked at Atticus, "I had faith in you, in your heart and soul. I hoped that one day you would become a great warrior, one that would lead the world into an new era, but looking at you now, I see that I was wrong." Divine said as he stood up, and saw Shira standing at the door, "About the both of you. Shinigami girl, I left him in your care and now look at the state he is in. If you wish to help him, then do not cry or sulk whenever his foolish arrogance and pride stand in your way. You must endure and see it through even if he pushes you away and yet you would stand there and let him kill himself. I would expect more from the daughter of Kidd." Divine said as he looked back at Atticus, "You wish to take your life, but what you have forgotten is that your life is mine, so i will not allow you to die, unless I am the one killing you." Divine summoned a sword and placed it at Atticus' chest, "I know your reasons for wanting to die, and I must say, they are pathetic. You long for happiness, friendship, and love, but since you can't have it you would rather die? How trivial." Pushing the blade into Atticus' chest Divine would stop before it pierced his skin, "My dear apprentice, do you remember the promise you made to me when you begged me to turn you into a human? Would you betray my trust and break that promise?" he asked.

I am so sorry..." She said politely saying the last part directly to both Divine and Atticus. She looked up again, watching quietly, feeling a bit disappointed in herself now that he pointed out everything. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

  ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Listening to Divine, Atticus would seem rather depressed. "Why would my soul summon you? Am I really that desperate to live, that my soul would summon the one person that I would not want to be here?" he thought as he then looked over to see Shira standing in the doorway as Divine spoke to her and she apologized, "Shira?" Atticus muttered.. Then Divine would summon a sword of his own and place it at his heart, as he did, Atticus would begin to shake, "W-Why am I afraid all of a sudden? Is this not what I wanted?" he asked himself as he then heard Divine mention the promise between the two of them. As he did, Atticus would look up into Divine's eyes and recite what he had promised, "I promised that I would live a life of no regrets and happiness. That I would find friends who would accept me and trust in me. I promised that i would live and enjoy life for the both of us, enough so that you could experience it even though you were not there." Atticus said as tears would form in his eyes, "I-I promised to live and cherish the life that you gave to me." with those final words, Atticus would shed a few tears and then close his eyes.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

She walked upstairs again and sat down against the wall by the portal, staring at the ground. Divine said as he then looked down at Atticus as he spoke of the promise that the two of them made. As Atticus closed his eyes, Divine would sigh and kneel down, "I see that you have not truly given up living." he said as he noticed that Atticus would shaking, "You can lie to everyone here, but you can never lie to your soul. That is another lesson that you must learn." Divine said as he released his sword and then stood back up, "I have yet to see you truly live in this world, so until I do, I will not permit you to die, but in the state that you are in now. You will be completely useless to your partner." Divine said as he opened up a portal to where Shira had went, "Young girl, hold your head up and greet the new day with your partner." closing the portal, Divine would then summon a different sword in his hand, this sword was made up of pure energy and glowed a dazzling golden color, "I look forward to seeing how you two progress." Looking down at Atticus, Divine would seem him open his eyes, "That is the spark that I wish to see. Take this and use it wisely." Divine would take the sword and then stab it into Atticus' heart. Creating another portal, Divine would turn and leave, "Once you've regained the strength to live and grow stronger, come to me and I will see if you are worthy to take my place, as the true King." with that, Divine would leave through the portal.

She put it back then and brought her legs up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them, hoping Atticus would walk up the stairs. At the same time, she was a bit nervous with coming face to face with him. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ As the sword was stabbed into his body, Atticus would feel no pain, but there would be an odd sensation taking over his body. It would feel like his blood was being changed or purified, after a few seconds, the sword would suddenly sink into his body, resulting in a bright light. After the light vanishes, Atticus would be seen lying there on the ground, seconds later he would open his eyes and sit up. "I will not waste this life you've given me master. I will never break our promise." Atticus said as he then stood up and looked around. "I can't stay in here for too long." he muttered as he looked at the building. Walking into the building, Atticus would make his way up the stairs, when he finally reached the top he would see Shira sitting there. Looking over at her, Atticus would glance away, "We should leave before something else happens." he stated.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

She reached in her bag to make sure that the orb was still there along with a few other things. She stopped finally and looked at the portal "You can go first..." She insisted nervously. Atticus said as he walked towards the portal, but stopped and held his head down, "I know that things won't ever be the same between the two of us, but I want you to know that deep down in my soul, there was a part of me that listened to everything you said. I was just ignorant and blind to acknowledge them. I hope one day you will forgive me." he said as he looked back at her, "I just keep hurting you over and over again, don't I? It seems like somethings never change." Atticus said as he then entered the portal, not waiting for Shira to respond.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
