Backstage was the Voodoo Lady herself, Dallas Cruz, stretching and preparing herself for her match in the main event later that night. She was silent and her eyes were closed, appearing as if she was deep in meditation. Suddenly, her name was heard called out quite loudly from off camera.
”Dallas! Dallas! Daaalllaaasssss!”

Her hazel eyes snapped open and it was very obvious that she was not all that thrilled about being interrupted. The camera zoomed out to reveal her brother, the Vampyre, Marshall Lee run up to her, appearing a bit worried about something. ”Dallas! Dallas……Dallas….”

“What, Marshall?! I heard you the first 50 miles away. What is it? What do you want?”

He smirked at the annoyance in her voice but continued anyways, ”You know your match later? With tag match….with Bader?”

She raised an eyebrow and nodded, ”…Obviously. What of it?”

He ran his hand through his bangs, pushing them back only to have them back fall back over his eyes. “…There’s something I have to tell you…about Jamie…”

Dallas rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest, ”This again? Look, Marsh, I already know you hate the guy. I don’t need to hear it again.” Ever since Marshall had found out that she was teaming with that barbaric redneck, she didn’t hear the end of it.

”No! This is different!” He stared intently at his sister, hoping that she would at least hear him out, ”Look…as a vampire, I can sense things. Kinda like a sixth sense, ya know?”

”Get to the point, will you?”

Marshall raised up his hands to calm her down, ”I can detect other…beings, if you will. I can tell humans apart from nonhumans. Take you for example. I can smell the voodoo on you from a mile away.” She was about to yell at him again to get to the point, but luckily, he managed to catch her before she did.

”Anyways! What I was getting at was…” He looked around before leaning in closer to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. In return, Dallas listened intently to what he was about to say. ”You and I…we’re not the only supernatural beings around.”

Dallas seemed confused at first. ”What…uh..what are you talking about, Marshy?”

”I’m just saying, Dally Wally. I know a wolf when I smell one…and Bader is totally stinking up the place.”

The woman rolled her eyes, ”You have GOT to be joking!” She turned to fully face her brother, ”You can’t honestly expect me to believe that Jamie’s a were-“

Before she could finish, Marshall brought hand up to hush her. ”It all makes sense, Dal. He reeks, he’s violent, temperamental. The signs are all there! You do know that vampires and wolfs are mortal enemies, right? Why do you think we hated each other so much the first time I had the misfortune of meeting him face to face? Think about about…I’m never wrong with these things. Trust a vampire’s intuition, Dallas.”

With that, the handsome male grinned his fangs at his sister, tapped her on the forehead and walked off, leaving the woman to stare after him with a look of confusion and disbelief.
