Story
The world is on fire.. For years the skies have been painted with an odd mixture of gray and red from the flames and smoke. The war has raged on, and there seems to be no end in site. What started in Gekkoukan as an outbreak of Shadows suppressed by SEES and then in Inaba by students of a high school, has become a full scale war. The shadows have only increased in number and in power, and even the SEES group has now fallen victim to the endless numbers of Shadows. The last standing resistance lies in the city of Sona, Japan where the last of the Persona users hide out. Shadows used to only thrive during the Dark Hour and within the TV world, but now they have found a way to traverse the world day or night. Not that it matters anymore with the smoke keeping the sun from bathing the world in it's much needed light. The apocalypse has come, Shadows roam the Earth, and only a handful of humans remain to fight humanity's extinction. Out of the few left, some veterans still live, Akihiko, Rise, Yosuke, and Yukari. They now lead the resistance against the Shadows and recruit any potential Persona users into their fold before it collapses and the Velvet Room hasn't been seen since Yu's time in Inaba.

Powers
In this incarnation of Persona, there are *no* Social Links, however there are special powers each Persona user can wield, and no copies. Once the powers are taken they are taken, no two characters will be able to do the same thing. These powers are both a collaboration of SMT ideas, as well as some roleplayers in my previous Persona RP.
Wild Card - Able to switch between two Personas.
Demi-Fiend - Having the power of demons and being half human half demon. Reserved
Fusion - Fusing with one's Persona to bestow themselves with other planar powers and weapons.
Devil Summoner - Able to travel with a permanent Devil companion and fight alongside it as a mundane human.
Tarot Weapon - The ability to turn your 'true' self into a weapon to battle the Shadows.

Power: Wild Card Personas: Evolved Susano-o Magatsu IzanagiWeapon: Dual wields whatever sharp objects he can get his hands on. Bio: Several years ago, Yosuke was a member of the investigation team that took down Izanami, and saved the world from the encroaching threat of shadows. Or so he had thought. When shadows started coming back, he was among the first of those struggling to keep them at bay. Once a happy-go-lucky young man, he's now jaded and serious adult after watching his friends die around him, and his best friend being nowhere to be found. However, he still does try to keep a light mood when around the few humans left.  Name: Yamachi, Hayate Age: 17 Origin: The Shadow World Power: Shadow Born Persona: N/A Weapon: His body Bio: Hayate woke up in the world, void of all memories. The place he awakened in was a small village that had remained untouched by the growing disaster, which he was completely unaware of. His first experience with the disaster was with the village he had awoken in. Not too longer after he woke up he began to have strange attacks, doubling over or feeling sick. This happened for a few days, constantly feeling nauseous. It was not until the fourth day that it happened. Hayate was walking through the town when one of the attacks started. He fell to his knees immediately and began to hack and cough, as usual, but it would not subside. Soon Hayate felt himself being taken away in a sense, as if he were being rewritten. In a matter of seconds Hayate's body began to eradicate and recreate itself, replacing vital parts of his body with blackened versions. His forearms grew blades, his blue eyes turned yellow, and an immense red aura encircled his being. The village he had been living in panicked, claiming him to be a spy, a horrible assassin. Immediately he was chased out of the village, shunned by those who had once accepted him. His first transformation lasted three days, three whole days of feeling corrupted and hurt. Once he transformed back he began to go near other creatures and humans, trying to barter and get any supplies he needed. This proved to be of no use, however, because the transformation had permanently darkened him. He now shone a dark pale color, his eyes being slightly shaded except for his brilliant blue eyes that stood out as beacons. Such an unnatural being was bound to be met with skepticism. And so, he began to learn to use his powers so that he could survive. Use them for hunting and fending off attackers. And once he learned all he needed to know, he began to walk the Earth, to find out about his past and who he was. Picture:

Rules
First and foremost as the Thread Master all ideas that go outside of the storyline itself must be brought to me first. Freedoms are good, but there has to be regulation to these ideas or it's chaos. I've provided an open world, a story, and powers from SMT and custom ones as well. If you don't like that I rule over the thread then it's time to turn tail and leave.
Follow the Gaia and Guild rules, there are no acceptions.
Romance is allowed, there is a massive limit on those you can woo however as the human population has dwindled.
No God Modding, if I as the thread master says something happens it happens just how it works. I wont kill off characters or be evil, unless I need to be.
As the Thread Master I will change these rules if need be to keep the RP in check.
Try not to rush through the RP, let everyone have the chance to act and react to everything that's going on. Let's try to keep it to rounds, if there are three people, don't post twice before all three respond to the current situation. That's a big rule so everyone can keep up and feel comfortable with the RP.

Name Victor Markov Age 18 Origin Russia Power: Tarot Weapon Persona: yin-yang gauntlet known as balance. Raises his physical strength while limiting his speed. Weapon duel wields a pair of revolvers and carries around a 30mm harkonnen cannon as well as a mechanical left arm with a hand that is made completely of self replicating nanites that only replicate when they touch a source of metal other than Victor or the prosthetic. this arm is affectionately called the left hand of God. Bio After Victor lost his arm in a car accident in Moscow he was given an experimental military grade prosthetic and it was after that when the shadows attacked. he came face to face with his darker side and he over came it in a few minutes. it was telling him all the negative things he was thinking and he knew it was true and accepted it. who was he to deny his own thoughts? after that his persona was on his side and took the form of a gauntlet for his right hand ,which he refered to as thr right hand of doom. a handy weapon (no pun intended) against the shadows where his guns could barely dent them. He is a seventh degree black belt in multiple martial arts styles, making his "left hand of God" and "right hand of doom" a difficult combo to beat. Picture
