Today I completed a fast project for my daughter. It has already started getting colder and she needed something new for her head. So I made this monstrosity! She loves it! Scoodie has been accomplished! I used a pattern http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/harlequin-hoodie. But I lined this one with tshirt material in a coordinating colour, gotta be warm! This is on top of this past weeks winning crossstitch : Yeah I am feeling too crafty for words! wooohoooo!!! Do any of you have something you have accomplished in the last week or so that makes you super proud? I would love to hear about it! Even the smallest accomplishments make for a good news day!

Oh gosh, you made that by hand?? The quality looks great, and such great colors too! Not to mention your daughter's an absolute cutie! whee
As for my super-proud moments? Completing each medication pass each day at work, lol. I know it's probably just me, but it's such a nice feeling knowing everyone has had their pills for the morning emotion_c8

Yuppers! I used my machine to sew the lining in, but otherwise all by hand smile
And thanks, I think she is pretty cute too, mind you she WOULD NOT smile for a picture, gotta do silly faces smile
And you are a nurse?
It is nice to know that you have done your job well for sure!

aww how adorable! your beautiful daughter & the scoodie 3nodding kudos to your completion. some things i am proud for: i joined the pta at my sons school (4yrs) he tis in ore-k my only child 4laugh i am the treasurer of the pta & i am almost done with my schooling 1 class left, but i have a good break til then ive kept a 4.0 all the way.. xp

Proud? Not really? But i am satisfied with a poem i wrote
Dancing with the wind
is something i do
because when you dance with wind
the wind dance with you
the wind it coils it twist around you
you move, you change and dance with it
you grab and follow and try to catch it
but the wind it always slips away
the wind it gathers around you
because you have always had win inside you
the wind is always with you
because just as you it is ever changing
and yet always the same
So what do you think?

Today I am happy that my daughter and I went out for most of the day and that she behaved very well the entire time.
I am proud of this because when I am hurt/angry.depressed, I really have to force myself to do anything, and I DID IT.
I DID THINGS!!!
I finally sent away a pile of paperwork to the CRA (like the IRS) and it has taken me forever to get it done. To know it is done and finally be sending it off is a great relief! Now I just have to see what they call me about. Hopefully it all goes well smile

I'm not sure if it's pride or just very pleased, but when my teen-aged daughter told me her friends like me, it just made my whole day glow! I'm not a social creature, too shy and introverted, so that teenagers like me is just amazing to me!
