Did you say it wouldn't change anything if he was married?

Actually, it would change everything. It states Jesus never sinned right? Well, I think marrying someone would be a sin, it would be selfish of Jesus to do so if he did marry a woman, KNOWING he was meant to die on the crux. And then rise again, only to be risen to heaven.

Whats Selfishness usually come under the "Seven Deadly Sins". Greed? Sounds right...
It would break theologies that hold that Christ and Jesus are the same person, but for dualistic theologies that hold to Christ and Jesus being different individuals, not so much. Again you're assuming history and theology are one and the same. If a theology breaks because of new historical information, it's not much of a theology. I do not see any evidence of Jesus being married and the papyrus isn't much proof of it either, but let's say just hypothetically we do find out that Jesus was actually married. Do we just ignore this information for the sake of preserving a theology, or should we rework it to account for new information that is presented to us?

I think we should adapt it, if this information is 100% proven to be legit.

I think Jesus and Christ is one in the same, or else he would haven't taken the fleshy body with him. I am pretty sure, in Revelation, John says he saw the wounds still on Jesus' hands and feet from the crucifixion. So keeping those imperfections, in a perfect world...

Also, if Jesus did have a wife, which would make two women that had to grieve him, then he is selfish. His mother, well, she must have understood what would happen when he grew up, but still, he was her son, and she would have been horrified to see him go that way.

Sometimes, I do ponder WHY he asked "Why have you forsaken me?" It seems, so... mortal. Like a fear of Death moment.

Of course, I wouldn't suggest otherwise.

Most people do, I was merely suggesting a theology that it could fit under.

And this is based on the premise that they would grieve more greatly than any of his other disciples and friends. Also Jesus had his own ideas about who his family was:
Matthew 12
46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”

48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

Commonly held apologetic is that he's quoting the first line of Psalms 22. Personally I think this argument comes about after the fact since it's dependent on assuming that Mark has the same theological outlook as John. History and examination of the texts says they don't.

They probably just wrote what they heard or was needed. Nothing more.
