I was a little late. I got it over the weekend and beat it and... oh my god D: It didn't come out this year but it's my game of the year for sure. If any of you like horror survival than please pick this up because it's just so freaking good. Play the first one if you can. Regardless it's just... fuggin awesome.
As scary as it's supposed to be I didn't feel like it really was a horror game. That wasn't the fact. The fact was, it has simplicity a lot of games just don't have. It's basically the resident evil of this gen in technology. It brings you a highly cinematic experience integrated with simple controls and makes you feel like you really assume and feel the character. The entire time is a struggle, just want to find out what's going to happen next.
If anyone has this game, please post here so I can discuss it with you. What was supposedly a horror survival felt much like something new to me entirely. Isaac Clarke is one badass space engineer.
I should still say it's very gruesome. So if you're going to check it out it's very gory, and I am sure a lot of people consider it a very scary game. It's intended to be after all.
Check out the launch trailer from a long time ago here I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a hidden gem, because it's something I overlooked but I can't recommend it enough to horror/sci-fi fans. Not for those with a weak stomach.
Friendly Ver.
