Bastion  Bastion rubbed his chin softly for a moment as he thought. Then he perked up and smiled.
"I think I get it. So you and I are intimate aren't we?"

Miki nearly dropped her spoon when he asked if they were intimate. She blushed and nodded. "Yeah I guess we are intimate in a sense," she said. "Although I'm not quite sure if we are intimate as friends or do we have a relationship that transcends friendship," she had meant to keep these thoughts in her head but she had spoken them aloud. When she realized it she got nervous wondering which of these he thought they had.

Amber RoseGriffon Amber could relate somewhat to Miki and Bastion's conversation. Zoltan may be just a bird, but he was Amber's best friend. She then remembered something she heard about a long time ago. " I think there was something mentioning strings like that in ancient griffon myths, but I can't remember clearly."

Bastion Bastion listened to Miki speak and tapped his chin confused as he took the spoon out of his mouth and grabbed another bit of the now almost gone sundae and let out a soft, ummmmm.
"That depends... What classifies as transcending friendship?.. is there something beyond friendship?.. Does this topic make you nervous? Your cheels keep glowing..."
Bastion then turned his body to look at Amber looking slightly confused.
"Does that make my strings a griffon..."

Amber RoseGriffon Amber chuckled a bit at Bastion's questions. " No, your strings are not griffons. It just means that they were in a story I once a long time ago, Like what Miki said about her culture. I just can't remember what my culture says about them."

Miki looked at him. "There is some thing deeper than friendship. But I guess I'll save that conversation for later before we get off topic again. And of course I'm nervous, its not easy for me to talk about stuff like this but I tell you as much as I can because you're the one asking." she said quietly. Then she looked at amber as she spoke. "So the strings of fate also noted in griffon myths..." she said putting a hand to her chin pondering about it. "This goes back further than i thought..."

Miki laughed. "I knew I was reading too much into it," she sighed. "Oh, well it was just a theory. Though I guess the red string of fate could really be non-existent and perhaps its just urban legends and myths made up by people." She took another spoonful of the sundae that was almost gone by now.
