It was a rather quiet day in the Lucky Noodle shop, for once. The Major was lounging on one of the couches, keeping some distance to the other patrons while she was Diving the net. The Public Security Section 9 had not had any major safety issues to deal with lately, so she sometimes took smaller investigations on her free time just to keep herself busy.
However, today seemed like one of those days where simply nothing was happening. As she returned to her cybernetic body, she lazily scanned the vicinity in hopes of finding some entertainment in observing the fully natural customers around her.
Cyborgs and androids seemed rather rare around these parts. Whether that was a blessing or a curse, she couldn't quite decide. Living things all had a Ghost, but she was intrigued whether something with an artificial intelligence could develop one over time. Heck, she even questioned the existence of her own Ghost at times. The Tachikomas they used at Section 9 had a very advanced AI and had started showing possible signs of developing Ghosts.. but nothing conclusive had come up yet.

The female sighed, leaning back and taking a sip of the green tea she'd had sitting on the table before her since she arrived.

User ImageThe shop was full of life today, as it was most days of the week. Bored of sitting around on her a** all day, Mnemosyne had wandered down to the shop. She had hoped to hang out with Clio today, but urgent business had drawn her older half-sister away to work today (filling in for a coworker, which had the other AI grumbling and swearing all the way), so from the looks of it, there wasn't a lot for her to do but hang out and stare at all the other foxes. Maybe today she'd meet someone interesting. All too often, she found herself bored by the other patrons and just gave up on interaction to go pester Matt at his bookshop or Mana at the game store she worked at.

A quick glance around the crowded room gave no indication of her few friends being around. Damn. There never was. Instead, she made her way to a couch and flopped down on it, nearly sitting on top of a pale-colored noodle scanning the crowd around her. Oops. "Ack, sorry!" she said quickly. The orange and blue markings on her body flashed quickly. That caused her to grimace--she tried not to show that she was an AI. One could never be too careful, and somewhere around here, there could always be a soldier looking to snatch her up and kidnap her. She knew that if that were to happen, her family would raise hell, but that would still put her in a hell of her own. Best to avoid such an occurrence altogether, and try to pretend to be normal. The best she could hope for was to pass for a shorter-than-normal half-demonic, half-Spartan. Hopefully.
