First Meeting

OOC moments :: this color text :: Aurelia: *bunted out* Oh, for pity's sake. Why am I here?
Zotikos: *flies out, lands softly; hears Aurelia's comment and tilts his head* I assume to socialize or have some kind of fun? That's the only reasons humans let us out, usually.
Aurelia: *blinks and frowns* I know you. Didn't we meet in the thread one time? I think my human used me as a shield and you landed on me. *dry tone of voice*
Zotikos: Actually, I landed on your human. Maybe a bit too hard, cause she seemed to think it was you I landed on *laughs*. My human says since she tossed me out first I had right of way, so if you human was trying to hide underneath you then it would be you that landed on me who had landed on your human. Hope she didn't get squished too badly.
Aurelia: *snorts* My human says right of way is for cars...whatever those are. *flicks her tail tip, a nervous tic she can't hide* I don't remember if we did the introduction thing. Who are you?
Zotikos: *smiles* Cars are giant metal things that humans use to get around. They're so slow on their own feet, they tinker with things to make them faster. My human said something like I was moving as fast as a car when she threw me, so rules still applied. *shakes his head* That's why I just ignore her most of the time, they don't make much sense. Oh, and I'm Zo. Not my whole name, but I don't really use the whole thing anyways.
Aurelia: Zo? That's...different. I'm Aurelia. Or Re if you want. *tenses slightly* So...are you phims evil, stupid creatures like my dad says? *he doesn't seem like one, but Dad did say*
Zotikos: *thinks about it for a moment* The answer is relative on your own personal standards of evil and intelligence. The stero-type of Phims is fluffy, friendly, and air-headed, but I've known a couple Phims that aren't nice at all. We also range from the stero-typical airhead to genius-level intelligence. I'd say I'm somewhere in the middle grounds, so whether or not you think I'm stupid depends on what you think is smart. *smiles* I'm quite friendly though, no evil to me.
Aurelia: That was a hightly complicated answer. *smiles reluctantly* You're also not purple, so I guess you're not stupid and evil either. *yes, this comment totally makes sense to her*
Zotikos: *looks over Aurelia, who is a lot of purple; doesn't say that though, instead asks* Purple stands for evil and stupid?
Aurelia: And I quote: 'Purple Phims are evil and stupid. They love to steal what rightfully belongs to you. Never associate with them. In fact, stay away from Phims in general.' *rolls eyes* I haven't met a purple Phim yet, so I don't actually know if they're evil and stupid. *eyes Zo* You aren't purple and you don't seem to be too big of a threat, so I don't see why I have to avoid you either. Honestly, I think he has a specific Phim in mind and he's not allowed to tell me.
Zotikos: Probably. I know a Phim you would probably find very annoying and stupid. She falls in the air-head category, though she's actually pretty smart underneath it. No purple on her at all.
Aurelia: I'm not stupid either and I have purple, so I'm almost certain it is a specific Phim. *gets a mischievious look* I wonder how I can figure out what phim this is. *slashes tail from side to side, then glances at Zo* How many Phims do you know?
Zotikos: Not very many, I'm afraid. Less than half a dozen. *tilts his head* Who told you about the purple thing?
Aurelia: Hmm...and how many do they know? My Dad told me about the purple thing. Well, my Deava father did, anyway. Why?
Zotikos: Maybe we should question how many Phims your father knows, to figure out who he's talking about. Probably not many, I'd imagine, if he's not fond of them.
Aurelia: My dad isn't fond of anyone except my other father. Well, he like me and my siblings too...in his own way. But other than that, he doesn't like anyone. *eyes Zo* I bet you talking to me would irk him to no end. *grins*
Zotikos: *laughs* And you enjoy irking your Daeva father, I take it? I was a momma's boy myself, while I had her at least.
Aurelia: Yeah, we all kind of do. It's the only time he pays a lot of attention to us without us being hurt or in danger. In return, he irks us back. *grins, then tilts head* Did you lose her? Er...permanently? *there had to be a better way to phrase that*
Zotikos: Unfortunately I did. *slightly sad smile* But I'm glad I got to at least spend some time with her. Most don't even get that much.
Aurelia: I'm sorry. I can't imagine not having either of my fathers. *touches Zo's shoulder with her tail tip, trying to give a bit of comfort*
Zotikos: *gives Aurelia a grateful smile* It's alright. I do miss her sometimes, but I figure one day I'll see her again. So what's your other father like? The not-Daeva one?
Aurelia: He seems timid and shy...and he is...except when it comes to my Deava dad. He's learned how to control his mate...in a way. He's very loving and motherly, for a male. *smiles*
Zotikos: *laughs* Hey, having someone act the mother is a great thing. Moms are pretty awesome.
Aurelia: Yes. *smiles* We all love him.

In-Thread Chatter
Status :: done ::
OOC moments :: this color text :: Zotikos: *flies out*
Aurelia: *recognizes someone besides her brother who she knows* Hey, Zo. Remember me?
Zotikos: *spots Aurelia, smile breaks out over his face* Aurelia! It's good to see you again!
Aurelia: And you, Zo. What have you been up to? *flicks tail, please that Zotikos didn't forget her*
Zotikos: *waves a paw* Oh, not much. Mostly just traveling, seeing new sights and looking for interesting things. Traveling is nice, but it's good to settle in one spot for a length of time after moving around so much. *grins* What about you? What's been going on?
Aurelia: Mostly puttering around the tribe and trying to make Aeron behave himself. Not much has been happening, so it's nice to get out and talk to other foxes for once.
Zotikos: Oh, you're part of a tribe? Is Aeron a friend or a brother or....?
Aurelia: Yeah, I'm in Akatsuki. Aside from my three older half siblings, my whole family is there. Aeron is my stupid younger brother.
Zotikos: *laughs* I'm guessing he annoys you a lot? So you have four siblings, or.....*trails off, looking at Aurelia expectantly*
Aurelia: Six. I have six siblings, but I've really only met three of them. Those three are my litter mates. The other three were from Daddy Gin's first fling.
Zotikos: *tilts head* So none of his oldest children stayed in the tribe with your father?
Aurelia: No. The way I understand it, one of my brothers stayed with his mother...and they both disappeared. The other two wandered off when they were full grown. I'm...unsure if my parents were in Akatsuki when the other three were born. I know Papa Kito misses them. He raised them.
Zotikos: *nods sympathetically* I'd miss my kids too, if I didn't get to see them. I'm guessing they don't visit often, if you've never met them before.
Aurelia: They don't visit very often. I don't think I've ever seen them...then again, we aren't around our parents every single second now that we're adults. So they may have while we were out....
Zotikos: *slightly indignant* And they didn't stick around to see their new sibs? That seems rude! I guess I can't speak for the rest of your sibs, but you're a perfectly fascinating person to meet!
Aurelia: All of my older sibs are Deavas. And the only two who would visit have their own families. I don't know if they'd visited at all anyway. *smiles a half smile and flicks her tail tip* Ah, thanks. I'm not that fascinating though. I think you're far more interesting.
Zotikos: *chuckles in amusement* Come on, what's so fascinating about me?
Aurelia: You're a Phim, you aren't in a tribe, and my father hasn't found you and tried to kill you yet. You're so different from me, that you're interesting. There may be a bit of the taboo too, since I'm not supposed to associate with 'evil' Phims, remember? *grins*
Zotikos: *wide grin* Oh, I see! It's my dangerous, bad-boy aura that appeals to you, huh? *waggles eyebrows like a cartoon villian*
Aurelia: *Re shook her head and put a gentle paw on the Phim's nose* Stop that. And maybe a little. *laughs*
Zotikos: *chuckles softly, softly nips Aurelia's paw* Only cause you asked.
Aurelia: *laughs and pulls her paw back*
Zotikos: *grins* Am I being too silly? Narc gets annoyed with me when I act silly, but then Narc gets annoyed with pretty much everything.
Aurelia: We don't get a lot of silly. Usually we bicker. But it isn't annoying me, it's...cute. *is talking like an idiot, yes*
Zotikos: *mischievous grin* Cute, huh? I'll remember that. *mimicks Aurelia and lightly taps his paw on her nose* Just so you know, you're also being cute right now.
Aurelia: *wiggles nose and shakes her head, blinking in sudden surprise* Ah...you know how I was telling you about my siblings? *points to Cadi, Cian, Sitara, and Tsuna* I think those are them. Well, the two normals are definitely mine but...the other two are them. *mostly cause Tsuna looks like Gin and Sitara looks similar to Tsuna*
Zotikos: *looks closely at Tsuna and Sitara* Hmmmm. I can see the resemblence between you and the male. You're tails have similar patterns *glances at Aurelia's leopard spots*. I wouldn't have guessed the female was related to you though, at least not immediately related. *tilts his head* I'm guessing the stars come from their....er, other parent?
Aurelia: Yes, they do...but the stars on their wings come from Papa Gin. *points to Aeron's wings* See? He has them too. I'm pretty sure their mom looks a lot like Sitara.
Zotikos: I see. I look mostly like my dad, or so my mom has told me. *whips his fluffy tail around, showing off the red/purple tip and swirl* These are all I got from mom.
Aurelia: I mostly look like Papa Gin, but the silver color is from Daddy Kito.
Zotikos: I'd like to meet your fathers one day. Even the one who thinks I'm evil and stupid *grins*
Aurelia: *looks at Zotikos skeptically* Ah...I don't know if that's a good idea. *sees visions of Gin chasing Zo all over the tribelands*
Zotikos: *shakes head, laughs* Oh, certainly not anytime soon! Maybe at some point in the future, when we're sure I can handle it. *eyes twinkle* I'm not a vain fox, but I don't fancy my fur getting singed by an angry Daeva father.
Aurelia: *laughs* I wish us both good luck with that. You will need it more than me, though. And singeing may be the least of your worries.
Zotikos: It's the most pressing of worries that I think might actually come to pass. I'm sure there's a lot of other things I would have to worry about, otherwise.
Aurelia: *nods* True. It's probably best not to let you dwell on all the things my dad can do to you. Daddy Kito will like you, though. So you're safe there. He'll probably talk Papa Gin around too...eventually.
Zotikos: *chuckles in amusement* This certainly promises to be fun for the future!
Aurelia: My family is anything but boring. *laughs along with him*
Zotikos: *eyes twinkling* Indeed! We really should plan another get-together, this was nice. *smiles*
Aurelia: We should. I can easily slip off the tribal lands for a while to spend some time with you. I just have to sneak passed Aeron.
Zotikos: Hmmmm. What can you use to distract him?
Aurelia: Cian. They have this brother thing and I think Aeron is more attached to Cian than the rest of us.
Zotikos: Hmmm. Think he can be let in on the plan, or we going to have to find a way to be sneaky?
Aurelia: Yep. Papa Kito will like you as long as he thinks you're being nice to me. *smiles* That's pretty much his only rule.
Zotikos: *laughs* Think I'm up to his standard of what counts as nice, then?
Aurelia: *eyes him teasingly* Hmmm...maybe. *flicks tail*
Zotikos: *pretends to look worried* What happens if we let him in on the secret and we find out I'm not? *play-acting the worry, though the question is legit*
Aurelia: *looks at Zotikos in mock seriousness* Then you'll find out how truely scary Papa Kito can be.
Zotikos: *cowers, throws a little quiver in for good measure* Maybe it'd be safer for me if we just never met again!
Aurelia: *laughs at his antics* Oh, it's definitely safer. But where's the fun in that? *whaps him lightly with her tail*
Zotikos: *laughs, playfully nips at Aurelia's tail as she whaps him* None at all! Risks are half the fun in life.
Aurelia: *grins* Exactly. *waggles her tail to try and get loose, leans in and licks him on the nose*
Zotikos: *blinks, wrinkles nose, waits until Aurelia's pulled back far enough then sneezes* Achoo! *eyes cross a little, giving him a bemused look* Ah, sorry 'bout that! *sniffs, looks at Aurelia sheepishly*
Aurelia: Soo...how mad would you be if I said that was really cute? *grins wickedly*
Zotikos: *raises an eyebrow, but looks amused nonetheless* Depends.... Was I macho cute?
Aurelia: Well, we can say that. It was a little on the cutesy side for macho, though.
Zotikos: *laughs* Well I suppose just this once I won't get mad. I'll have to work on my macho sneezing technique. *puffs out his chest, pretents to look impressive*
Aurelia: Now that pose is definitely macho.
Zotikos: *voice strained* Hard to breath though. Don't think I can hold it long.
Aurelia: Then don't. Silly Phim. *shakes head* I think I'd like you alive more than macho. *reaches to touch her nose to his cheek*
Zotikos: *laughs, lightly bumps his cheek against Aurelia's* All your fault, you know! I had to look macho to impress you after my cute sneeze!
Aurelia: Oh, yes, blame me. Although, I think guys should be cute and macho. If they can pull it off. *grins*
Zotikos: *laughs* How about I be macho when I'm awake and cute when I'm asleep? Unintentional moments of waking cuteness notwithstanding, of course.
Aurelia: Haha. Agreed. And any cute things I do will be summarily ignored. *wry half smile*
Zotikos: *gets a mischievous look on his face* So if I let you call me cute, I get to do the same?
Aurelia: *wrinkles nose* Deava's aren't cute.
Zotikos: *grins* Lies. *taps her on the top* You're very cute!
Aurelia: *gapes at him in mock affront* I am not. *can't hold the expression and chuckles*
Zotikos: *still grinning* Yup, definitely cute!
Aurelia: *sticks her tongue out at Zo*
Zotikos: *laughs* Does that mean I won?
Aurelia: *pouts* Pffft this once, I suppose. *curls tail*
Zotikos: *smiles* I'm sure next time you'll win. I wouldn't dream of being right all the time, it's no fun!
Aurelia: *laughs* That depends on who you're trying to be right all the time with. *grins, thinking about her siblings*
Zotikos: Hmmmm *thinks*. You know, I can't recall anyone I've always wanted to be right against. *crooked grin* I know I'm not always right, so I'd rather not seem even more annoying than I already can be.
Aurelia: You've obviously never had a younger brother.
Zotikos: *laughs* No, I was an only child. Just some friends I sorta grew up with. One's too bubbly to care who's right, the other two just don't care for talking all that much.
Aurelia: Having a younger brother means you always have to be right, or die trying. *chuckles*
Zotikos: Goodness! That doesn't sound very pleasant *laughs*
Aurelia: Haha, it's a lot more fun than it sounds. Well, for Aeron and I, anyway. We're both Deavas so maybe it's a Deava thing. Or maybe its just our family's thing. *shakes head with a sheepish smile*
Zotikos: Might be something with your family, cause I have two Daeva friends and neither of them have any sense of humor!
Aurelia: Well, to be honest, humor isn't always the driving force. Normally it takes a couple of days for us to actually laugh over it. Unless it's a stupid argument we thought up to relieve our boredom in the first place. Like the argument about whether blood tasted red or not. There wasn't any point to that argument except that we stopped being bored.
Zotikos: *laughs* Narc and Dysis never admit to being bored either. They never admit to anything, really, since they don't talk much as all!
Aurelia: they sound...remarkably boring. Is there a reason you hang out with them? *is confused*
Zotikos: *tilts head* Sometimes it's nice to wind down and just chill a bit. Sometimes I feel like I need to pull them out of their boring shells to have some fun. They're both really good to have on your side, they stick by their friends even if they're not particularly friendly.
Aurelia: *nods* If you say so. I haven't met them, so I'll take your word on it.
Zotikos: *laughs a little, shrugs* Well, I've known them for a long time. They really grow on you after while, they'll just never be the life of the party is all.
Aurelia: I can believe it.
