Leo is the older twin brother of Pax, Both were born on Destiny Islands and grew up listening to the tales of Riku and Sora adventures and about all the worlds they seen along the way. When he was little Riku started his training in the use of the key blade after undergoing the Keyblade Inheritance ceremony. He trained with his father for two years before Pax underwent the ceremony as well, and his father spent more time training her
To continue his training while his father was training Pax he looked to Sora and his son for training. It took a while but he later learned to meld the styles of his father and Sora, and shortly after he received the letter from Micky, summoning him to the fight.
It was around this time that his jealousy of his sister and her abilities reached its peak, and allowing darkness into his heart unaware of it and in his jealous ridden confusion he tried to open a DTD, to gain more power to try and make his father proud, but his many attempts all lead in failure.
