Ok, so this summer I have become VERY, VERY Political. Even more than I have been, because Politics is important, but I think it's fun. Like Math biggrin

Anyway, I have come up with my own Tax plan, because if you don't know already, I am wanting to Run for President in 2032. (As Republican, of course.)

So I decided to share with you my very own Tax Plan.

1. Repeal the 16th Amendment. This will in turn make the IRS unconstitutional, and would have to be abolished. It will also mean ending EVERY SINGLE Direct Tax on Americans. Income and Corporate taxes being the Big Ones. Then, to NOT make this a double tax, Consolidate all others.

2A. Implement a Consumption Tax. My plan would take 4 years to complete.
As an Introduction, or the First 2 Years, Impose 10%. There's an apportionment of 1.5% to your City, 1.5% to your County, 3% to your State, and 4% to the Federal Gov.

2B. Second half of First Term, raise to the complete level of 15% Consumption Tax. Apportionment goes: 2% to your City, 2% to your County, 5% to your State, 6% to the Federal Gov.

Additional Info: A Consumption Tax works like a Sales Tax. I would allow exemptions of the following: the MOST BASIC food Items/Generic Branded food. As stated above, to NOT make this a double tax, I would consolidate other indirect taxes (i.e. State Sales Tax, which would be replaced in this ONE, Consolidated Tax)

I would like your feedback. It is beneficial!

The government would need more money. Aren't we 17 trillion under?

Though I despise income tax, it is necessary. They should just lower it substantially.

Corporate tax should be implemented to keep the Fortune 500's in check as well.

If anything, repeal the ******** Death tax. That's a crime.

Well, if my plan spurs economic growth, since it is literally just like a sales tax, this would be beneficial, and would most likely meet today's Revenue or even beat it. Definitely Death Tax. It's gotta go!
