The Raijin clan lives in Amegakure, and have lived in the harsh landscape since their creation. Far into the past the Raijin clan warred with the surrounding clans who inhabited the area at the center of the shinobi world. Along with the Raijin Clan there was the Fūma Clan, Hattori Clan, Fuujin Clan and Sujin. After years of fighting the land was left scared and the inhabitants felt it best to come together to preserve the ideals of each of them and create one unified place for them all to live. The Raijin clan was in charge of creating the rules and upholding the order within the newly created rain village. They lead to the establishment of elite patrolling squads and guard factions to close off the village from any outside influences. The Raijin clan have not always been the clan with leadership positions throughout the villages history but they have always held the safety and well being of the clan in the front of their minds. The clan is a family of honor and pride. Though Amegakure is a place whose architecture is composed of several metallic skyscrapers with rowed ducts connected to them the Raijin clan does not live in such buildings. Like most of the larger clans in Amegakure they have their own section of the village. The Raijin Clan's houses resemble traditional japanese houses crafted from steel to give them a modern look while keeping a historical look. Every head of the Raijin clan throughout history makes sure to keep tradition at the center of the clans ideals so that they may learn and grow from their past rights and mistakes. This has lead to the clan to be looked upon when important decisions need to be made in the village due to their calm, knowledgeable demeanor. The Raijin clan hone their abilities in the same style as their ancestors who were trained in Kenjutsu, or sword style techniques. In the new erra of peace they Raijin clan became master samurai comparable to the samurai clans of the land of Iron. They are primarily sword-users. It was shown that they are born with larger chakra pools then normal ninja and have better chakra control, they are capable of utilising chakra, apparently by channelling it through their swords. This allows them to extend the reach of their swords as well as attack at a distance by swinging them and releasing crescents of energy at their targets. One of the forms of kenjutsu they use is Batojutsu, due to the quick drawing and re-sheathing of the katana, it makes ninjutsu near useless since the hand seals can't be completed. The Raijin clan had always been very good at using lightning chakra releases and as more generations were added to the family their techniques improved as well. Unique chakra releases began to emerge in their bloodlines as suiton chakra releases became a dominant second chakra nature, the most notable being Storm Release which combines Suiton and Raiton. As well as being famous for their Storm Release a select few members of the clan developed Flash Release as advancement to their bloodline allowing them to not only move and defense at super fast speeds but use their samurai Kenjutsu with more skill than ever before.

Storm Release: is an advanced nature kekkei genkai that combines lightning- and water-based chakra to create energy beams that can be guided towards the enemy. Despite the name of this nature, it does not manipulate storms; it instead manipulates beams of electricity that flow like water. The name is more symbolic, representing the names of the natures used to create this nature. Though there are some cases of a more literal version, manipulating storm clouds charged with lightning.
Flash Release: is an advanced nature kekkei genkai that evolves from the mastery of Storm Release. It involves super high levels of Shape Transformation and Nature Transformation with lightning release chakra to the level that it becomes visible around the users body. The flash release allows the user to move at speeds far greater than an normal ninja as well as increase their bodies physical strength. When using flash release the ninja channels highly concentrated lightning chakra throughout their entire body sending electrical impulses throughout their muscular, nervous, and circulatory systems enhancing their bodies performance. To begin the technique the user releases the built up lightning in a gigantic burst of energy and moves using the energy. To the untrained eye this produces a "warp" like motion where the user dashes around the area appearing in another location almost instantaneously. The person preforming the technique experiences a tunnel-like vision where it becomes hard to perceive the world around them, a weakness that is only offset by its sheer speed. The flash release can only be used for a certain period of time until the energy levels in the body return to normal. After the energy is expelled the user must stop and "recharge" the lightning release chakra in their body. Highly trained users of the kekkei genkai can stop and start their fast movements on a dime only appearing for less than a second before disappearing again in a blur of speed with nothing more than the sound of thunder following their footsteps. The flash release isn't only used for speed but it can also be used for physical manifestations of light. The user can vibrate their body at high speeds and release bright flashes of light, though unlike the quick dashes, this doesn't necessarily release all of the ninja's built up energy.

- This clan is not for noobs and to join you must pm the Leader of the clan a role play of being detailed and stating and proving that you understand the functions.
