There was some talk floating around that the top professional LoL teams would eventually be salaried - and while salaried, they must exclusively play competitively for LoL only.

Imo, I agree with salaried exclusivity. I mean, it'll be just like a "real" job out there - you just don't work for a company that competes with the company you already work for.
Back in high school while working in the lovely land of retail, there were clauses in the paperwork signed that you may not work for a competing/similar company while under their employment. ie) While working under "White House Black Market" I couldn't work under "New York & Co."
