OOC Hey there, you've not seen me around! ...at least not in a while. I came into extrasensory quite a while ago and won only one poke'mon, a black mareep, in an auction. I planned on rping this mareep with a different trainer and a small group of friends. However life and drama happened and this plot did not. I didn't want to step on anyone's toes so I scrapped the idea. It's been two years and honestly, that's more than enough time to walk on egg shells. I'd like to get back into extrasensory and start up a plot and re-learn the shop with an rp partner or two. I need to learn the battle system and get comfortable with the setting so if I derp out on occasion, please correct me so I can fix it and move along. ~Thalion
 Meet Baird...
All the info you need on him, who he is, his personality, etc. can be found in his journal. Currently he's 13 years old and just now setting out to learn how to train and fight his poke'mon. He's a late bloomer, shy as they come, and terribly superstitious. He believes that he, along with the remainder of his family, is under a curse stemming from the shop's last metaplot. Because of this, he's terrified of ghost and dark poke'mon. He wasn't going to set out on any kind of training excursion but with his father and older brother dead and missing, he's left as the breadwinner of the household. His mother's not mentally there anymore and he has no other real-world skills to get food on the table.
Plots I'm looking for...
• Pretty much anything! He's just starting out and it would be cool for him to bump into trainers around his age to bond with or even form some sort of rivalry with.
• Battles! I would love for him to get his flaaffy evolved up to Ampharos.
• Getting mixed up in the wrong crowd? Joining up with a rebellion? Anything. I'd like to see him really go through some character development.
• Drama! I'm not entirely into the happy flower sunshine anime feel of poke'mon. I really like the atmosphere and the gravity in the Poke'mon Adventure mangas and I'd like plots and developments to reflect that. Even some darker things would be fun, after all have you read some of your pokedex entries? These things aren't all happy flower sunshines.
• Maybe some fun twist involving his brother? I don't know, I left a lot open.
• Suggest something!
Plots I'm not looking for...
• Character and/or poke'mon death. Family members, sure, but not him as a standalone.
• Lightning romance. IF romance happens, I want it to be something that builds up through rp and character interaction. I don't like to plan out romances and I certainly don't like when a pair falls "IN RUV" within an rp or two. Baird is skittish and would sadly be a little oblivious to any advances. On that note, if he does end up getting involved, I'd like it to be a girl around his age. Anything else would just be creepy.
• Team Rocket/etc. I really don't want him to become a permanent member of a crime group. If he's pulled in, forced in, etc. I'd like a way out and a good plot behind it. Again, he thinks his family's cursed. Hurting other people and pokemon won't help lift it in his mind.

Alright. I have Zeke, 15 years old, a healer/plasma grunt. He has three pokemon, but I've never battled any of them. So, if you're interested, I'd be interested in doing a battle with you.

Well, given my rocket character is out, I can offer you battles with Lenore, if you like? I'm not currently looking for plots with her (still trying to get a feel for how being Gym Leader's assistant is going), but you mentioned looking for battles. I'd be happy to teach you if you have any questions, and I'm always looking for battles for my own nefarious ends. :3 Just let me know via quote or pm if you're interested - I tend to forget to check threads for extended periods of time.

My character, Zinnia, is 14 years old. She just recently left Team Rocket and is still hiding from them, although she has returned from the wild where she had been on the run. She makes her living off of pokemon battles, so she's definitely up for those. She seems to be the polar opposite of Baird, since she is outgoing and talkative, and that could make for some interesting RP! She's a friendly person and while she'd think that Baird is a bit weird for not speaking up, she would try to encourage him rather than put him down for it. And maybe Zinnia can help Baird get over his dislike of ghost and dark type pokemon. ;3 A similarity between the two is their dislike of pokeballs; Zinnia only uses them when necessary, and her pokemon are able to get out whenever they want anyway.

*Gives you Valarie's journal because it isn't really long* She would love to make some friends. Valarie is currently traveling at Zatao watching Pokemon. Maybe she can bump into Baird while she's traveling then have some sort of crazy adventure involving a few dark and ghost-types? XD *Doesn't really know*

Oh a battle would be awesome! Bear with me though, I'm very new at this. XDD If you don't mind the occassional derp on my part we can get one going. :3 That'd be awesome! I need a few battles to get warmed up to the system. The more the merrier. :3 And that sounds great. I need a good mentor. XD Oh my God that would be too amusing. XD I'm willing to have them meet up! He's going to freak a bit about the ghost/darks but it might be just what he needs. :3 Do you like guild rp's or aim? I'm good with either! Ooh that'd be awesome~! And crazy adventures are always fun. >A> I do have a ORP if we need a good starting point. :3
