abandoned by mother at 5-ish, left in orphanage and stayed there until he was 9, at which point he was adopted by an upper class family as a servant. he stayed with them for about a year before getting fed up, stealing some of their valuables and running off, eventually ending up in palisade. where he does menial chores where he can and pickpockets as well.
