She gave it to him on his fifteenth birthday and he always wears it, believing that it somehow keeps them connected no matter how far apart they are. The black sash that he wears tucked in his pants is actually a headband that his other best friend, Ancil always use to wear. After getting injured by a heartless on his homeworld, Ancil used the band to apply pressure on Sirus’ wound. On his feet, Sirus wears large red and grey sneakers. They have a rather basic design and he loved them for their simplicity. He also has a large, golden belt buckle with the dream eater symbol on it. History/bio: Sirus lived on the main lands of Destiny Island with his two best friends, Sylph and Ancil. They had rather normal lives, playing, having little adventures on the play island, going to school, basically regular stuff that teenagers did. But everything changed once Sylph found a worn out journal drift onto the shore. It had a mysterious symbol on the front (mark of mastery symbol) and the pages were held together with a lock. Shortly after, strange little black creatures (Shadow heartless) started to appear on the island. Slowly, people around the island began to go missing. At first Sirus didn’t pay the creatures much mind. They seemed adorable and harmless, but his opinion of them changed once he saw them swarm around his two best friends, trying to rip their hearts out from their chests. In a desperate attempt to save them, Sirus picked up a wooden stick and changed the creatures, swinging wildly and screaming whilst trying to protect him friends, but his attacks didn’t seem to faze the creatures. They knocked him around, eventually pushing him off a tall platform onto the sands below. He hit his head pretty hard, causing him to black out. He was surrounded by darkness when a loud, omniscient voice called out to him.
“There is a hidden potential buried deep inside of you. A power great enough to combat the darkness. A power great enough to help you save your friends. If you give it form, it will give you strength. Will you embrace this power and use it to protect others, or will you shun this new found strength and allow you and your friends to fall to the darkness? Choose well.”
Sirus’ desire to protect his friends granted him the ability to wield the keyblade. He chose to take the power that the voice had mentioned and woke up. In his hand was a golden key shaped blade. Sirus was confused for a moment, but quickly realized that his two best friends were still in danger. With keyblade brandished, the boy once again charged the heartless, this time slaying them in a fit of rage. After the fight and making sure his friends were safe, Sirus once again passed out. This time it was from exhaustion. Ancil picked up his friend and Sylph told him to bright him to her house so that he can rest until he wakes up. Hours passed before Sirus once again awoken. This time he was in Sylph’s room with Ancil and Sylph standing over him, waiting for him to wake up. He rose from the bed, asking his two best friends what had happened. They explained that he saved them by fending off those black creatures with a large golden pipe. Sirus recalled the voice that called to him earlier and held out his hand, summoning a golden keyblade in a flash of pure white light. The three looked at the blade with confused looks on their faces. That’s when it began to react to something in the room. The blade thrashed around in Sirus’ hand, pulling the boy off the bed, before pointing over at Sylph’s desk. The journal that she found earlier began to glow and float up into the air. A beam of light shot from the tip of Sirus’ keyblade, right into the lock on the book. A brilliant white light washed over the journal, restoring it to near perfect condition. It then gently laid back down on her desk and opened wide. Sylph told Sirus about how she found the book a few days earlier and how she wasn’t able to get it open despite how hard she tried. The group of teens walked over to the book and began to read it.
The journal was filled with entry upon entry of adventures that the writer had gone on. He documented the different worlds that he had traveled to, people that he had met, adventures that he had gone on and so much more. It was filled with countless entries of valuable information. The three were captivated by the journal and after days of coming back to the journal, reading up on the keyblade master’s journeys, the three were motivated to go out on an adventure of their own. They wanted to travel to new worlds just like the man who wrote the book. The journal warned of the creatures that attacked them. It told that heartless try to steal people’s hearts and that the people who get their hearts stolen turn into heartless. It also spoke about how it is up to the wielder of the keyblade to fight off the heartless and protect others from the darkness. Sirus, now realizing that he was chosen by the keyblade, decided that he would practice using it so that he could further protect his friends on their adventure. He spent day after day practicing to get better with the keyblade. By day he’d practice fight with Ancil. By night, he’d go out and fight off the heartless that dwelled within his world.
A few months had passed and the three thought that they were about ready to set off on their journey. Ancil use to fence as an after school activity, so he brought one of his sabers with him, hoping that he could use it to fight off the heartless alongside Sirus with his keyblade. Sylph began practicing the spells that were written in the journal by the keyblade master, though the only one that she really mastered was the cure spell. Sirus, who had been practicing relentlessly with his keyblade, was confident that he could stand up to whatever kind of darkness that may come their way. The day finally came when they believed that they were ready to go out on their adventure. They planned to meet up later that night on the shores of the main island so that their parents wouldn’t know. They were going to take a raft and set sail, hoping to eventually find other worlds. Everything seemed to be going according to plan… at least up until they all got to the shore. The keyhole to the heart of their world was briefly opened by another keyblade wielder (Another member from the group named Ciel that comes from the same world). By the keyhole being opened, powerful heartless began to swarm into Destiny Island. Almost instantly, the three kids were surrounded by the heartless. Sirus summoned his keyblade and Ancil drew his saber. They ran forward, attacking the heartless. Though he tried his hardest, Ancil wasn’t able to do much damage to the heartless. Sirus, on the other hand, was doing damage, but the heartless were on a whole different tier than the ones he fought when he first got the keyblade. Sirus’ arm was badly injured in the brawl, but he eventually managed to defeat the heartless. He was bleeding pretty badly, so Sylph cast a cure spell on him in order to heal the wound and Ancil wrapped his wound with his black bandana in order to put presser on the wound. Ancil insisted that if they were going to leave, that they’d have to do it now before more of the heartless come back and attack. They set up their raft and everything seemed ready. That’s when Sylph noticed that they didn’t have the journal. Sirus had borrowed it the night before and left it on his desk. He rushed back home, leaving his friends on the raft as they waited, and snatched the journal up. He sprinted back to the raft as fast as he could, hoping that his friends were safe… They weren’t. Heartless had attacked them once again, but they pushed the raft off into the water so that the creatures couldn’t get to them. Sirus made it just in time to see them drifting off. His two friends called to him, telling Sirus to meet them on the play island and that they’d leave from there. He nodded and rushed over to his own small boat.
Sirus eventually made it to the play island and began looking around for his friends. HE called their names, hoping to hear them respond. A large dark sphere appeared in the sky above Destiny Island. The ground beneath his feet began to rumble and shake as the world around him began to break off and float up into the sky. He remembered reading something similar to this in the journal. Sirus knew that his world was being devoured by the darkness. More and more heartless appeared, but they were all cut down by a desperate Sirus. He needed to find his friends ad fast so that he could keep them safe. That’s when a large darkside heartless appeared, blocking the boy’s path so he couldn’t get any further. He was terrified at first and wanted to flee, but then he remembered the voice and the reason why the keyblade chose him in the first places. He wouldn’t let his fear get in the way of him protecting those close to him. Sirus took his fighting stance and after a long and hard battle, the boy came out on top. The heartless melted into a pool of darkness. The darkness surrounded Sirus and slowly began to suck him in. He tried to fight, but he was slowly being pulled deeper and deeper into the abyss. He looked up in enough time to see his two friends get surrounded by the heartless. He called out to them, trying to rip away the dark entity as it slowly restrained him. They couldn’t hear him though. The last thing he saw before he was completely overtaken by the darkness was a group of neo shadows pouncing on his friends.
” Go forward and be strong, for the light is at the end of even the blackest of tunnels.”
Sirus’ eyes opened wide. He was now on a whole different world. He looked around, confused and in a daze. He didn’t recognize anything that he saw. His memory was a bit foggy at first, but it all came back to him. His world, the heartless, his friends and how he wasn’t able to save them. This caused Sirus to break into tears. While sobbing, the journal fell out of his inventory and landed on the ground before him. It opened up to a page that spoke of saving a world from the darkness. Though his tears, Sirus noticed the page and began reading it over. The entry gave him hope. Hope that he would one day be able to see his friends again and restore their home world. Even though he knew that it would be tough to restore his world, Sirus didn’t care. He stood up and wiped away his tears. He summoned his keyblade and vowed to someday save his world and his friends. He pulled out the journal and turned over to the world’s section. He then figured out that he was now in Traverse town. He walked over to the nearest shop and confirmed the information with the owner. He decided that he too would begin writing a journal, starting on the final page of the one that he found.
“I’ll record all of my adventures for now on too… So that I could show Ancil and Sylph once I’ve saved them. They’ll see all that I’ve done and how much I’ve grown.”
With that said, SIrus set out on his adventure to save his friends, using the journal as a guide for his travels. He also promised to help defend any other world that he can from suffering the same fate as his own…. Bitches~
