Mini Biography - His mother died in birth and his father was forced to raise him alone. Kyo had no brother's or sister's to play with or help take care of him while he was growing up. When he was six years old his father was killing in a mining accident and Kyo was forced to raise himself from that point on. Growing up he honed his skills so he would never have to worry about dying a pethetic death like his father. He left his birthplace and joined the royal army of Konan.

Mini Biography: Kaile was raised by an old copal that found her one there door step one day, thy treated her well , thy took care of her and her"father" started teaching her matial arts as soon as she started to walk , but she never felt loved , so on her 13th birthday when her trainig was complete , she left to see the world ,learn to be more powerful and maybe know why she was so strange , and she has been wondering from village to village ever since .

Hobbies - Making jewelery from quartz and hemp, playing the Xiao (Chinese recorder, but looks more like a flute), singing (mainly to herself. She'd be far too embarrassed to sing in front of anyone), going to festivals to watch the folk dancing.
Abilities - Has extensive knowledge of medicinal herbs, remedies, and first aid (taught to her by her late mother and for some strange reason, her medicinal healing seems to be more effective than if treatment were administered by someone else in the same manor.), plays the xiao very well, well enough to be invited to a court to play if someone should hear her. Unfortunatly, like with her singing, she'd be far too embarrassed to preform in front of more than her father and brother. Her xiao playing has no special ability. Li Mei is also extraordinarily dexterous with her hands, being able to make woven bracelets in half the time it would take most people. This dexterity could probably be put to other uses, but she hasn't really had the need to do so.
Personality - Li Mei is a bit on the quiet side, also being a bit shy when she aquires more attention than she's used to. Don't let her exterior fool you, for she is no pushover. Li Mei will speak up when necessary, usually to defend herself, or someone she cares about. Thankfully, she's far more charming and diplomatic than she gives herself credit, otherwise she might worsen a situation, rather than help it. Li Mei is a fairly understanding person and thus, doesn't get angry very easily. Some people might annoy her, but when that happens, she usually tends to put herself in their position to understand why they might do or say a particular thing, thus making her pretty empathic (not extraordinarily, but more than the average person). When Li Mei does get angry, it's usually kept to herself and simply gives the person with whom she's angry with the cold shoulder and gradually gets over whatever they have done. Her brother is the one who usually annoys her as he likes to play pranks on his little sister.
Mini Biography - Li Mei was born and raised in Seisen Village until her mother passed away when she was fourteen from an incurable disease. Up until that point, her mother, also the village healer and midwife, had taught Li Mei everything about medicine that she knew. Her mother told the girl countless times how much she had a knack for it.

After his wife passed, Li Mei's father, Liang, decided to move to Eiyoh and sell water (he had only sold the jewelery Li Mei made before along with various other trinkets she created. His wife's healing brought in enough money to where he didn't have to make much more in order for the family to survive). The family had a good chunk of money saved already, so they set off to Eiyoh and took residence in a nice shop-house which they rented.

Li Mei continued to make her jewelery and trinkets (also serving as a healer when necessary), while two weeks out of each month, her older brother, Jun, and Liang journeyed (and still do) to Hokkan and back in two wagons to retrieve fresh water to sell in Eiyoh. This left Li Mei to tend the shop on her own half of the time. She didn't have any friends, so Li Mei was lonely when left on her own. There were a few regular customers to whom she chatted every so often, but this was only enough to keep her sanity, not to fill the void.

This business arrangment has remained the same for a little more than three years and has worked out very well for the family. They've been able to save up money and furnish the house part of their shop very comfortably, as well as buy a few fineries such as silk clothes for special occassions (should there every be any) and porcelin vases and the like. The water business has been very kind to the Chen family, and while they're not filthy rich, they are far better off than a lot of other families in the city.

Personality - Hintama is quiet, as she doesn't get many visitors to her temple home. She is very reserved, choosing only to speak when it is needed. It is not often to see the young lady crack a smile, as she always has a very serious look on her face. Almost as though what she was doing could make or break the world...
Mini Biography - Not much is known about this Oracle, other than one day she simply descended from Mt. Taikyoku. The only thing that is really known is that her predictions are rarely wrong, and that she has a connection with the Emperor of the Heavens. Because of this connection to the higher god, as his illness progresses, Hintama grows weaker. As it is now, Hintama is unable to leave her temple home. It is not uncommon to see a small girl with her, with teal hued hair and bright violet eyes, who helps Hintama.

Hobbies: Dancing, singing (though those are both a part of her seduction.) She also rather enjoys making things, but she doesn't do it very often. She is fairly skilled in a few arts and crafts, but she only really dabbles. She finds peace in it, even though she cannot really feel much pleasure in the tasks. Pretty much anything where she can sit in quiet suits her quite well, at least when she is alone. For solitude is what gives her the most peace. Pity that it is virtually impossible for her to find real solitude. Especially being a woman in a world that is mostly men. (Not that that's nessissarily something she would complain about...) Also, she finds some enjoyment in practicing/dancing with her fans, especially when she is in nature.
Abilities: Virtually irresistable charm - especially where men are concerned (rarely ever works on women, though she can use her charm on them enough to gain trust in many instances). Sachi also basicly has the ability of Sirensong. Through singing, she can charm the minds of anyone who hears her. It is possible for people to resist her power, but it is very difficult to achieve the majority of the time.
For her physical capabilities, she has exceptional balance (pretty much catlike), and she dual wields bladed fans, which she always has on her and uses for ornament when not in battle.
Personality: Sachi is rather cold hearted, but she is very good at pretending to be otherwise. She doesn't really give a damn about anyone but herself, for her powers have caused a blockage in her ability to feel. Only once has she ever took pity upon anyone... And that is how she aquired Shin. He is the only one who has ever seen or ever sees her soft side, which is a very rare occurance indeed.
Sachikumi tends to use her feminine wiles to get what she wants, preferring to use her abilities and her own talent for seduction over fighting. She's very good at manipulating people, and tends to do it purely for the fun of it. Even with all of this, there are still times in which she must resort to fighting for her life, as her beauty and sex appeal isn't always foolproof. In these instances, she doesn't hesitate to use any weapon available, though she prefers the use of her fans, which she is extremely skilled in the use of. It tends to be more of a dance than fighting when she gets into battle, and in many cases she views it as a game. Much like the games she enjoys playing with men's hearts.
When other people are truly happy, it irks her and she has the tendancy to do everything in her power to either make them competely miserable for as long as possible, or at the very least cause them temporary sadness. All of this is resultant from the fact that she can hardly feel most good emotions. She is not capable of love, though she has wished that she was before. She is not capable of joy or jubilance. There is no happiness in her life... But she is not always in emotional pain, either. The ability to feel sadness is something that has also been blocked out, whether by her powers or by the events that have transpired in her life. She has her occaisional times where she feels an emptiness in her heart that is not akin to the apathy she usually feels and her only pleasure in life is getting rid of others' joy.
Interestingly enough, Shin does not just follow her because of the bond she has caused between them in saving him... He follows her for something much deeper... She is aware of his love, sympathy, and deep gratitude towards her, but there is nothing that she can do about it. His sentiments are one of the few reasons that she has wished that she could feel. Conversely, she also knows that her inability to feel makes life easier in most ways. After all... She has seen how difficult life can be for someone who actually has a concience. It isn't something that she desires to feel.
Of course, nobody can really see any of this, for her natural charm covers it all. Very few people can see behind the mask that she puts up for the world. Similarly, people very rarely ever realize that it was her doing that has caused them so much heartache and pain. Often times she ends up leaving them cursing the gods for thier cruelty, which suits her just fine.
Mini-Bio: Sachikumi was born to a family of artisans. She had two older brothers by the names of Isamu (three years older), and Kazuki (one year older). When she was about two her parents had another son by the name of Makohto.
Sachi was a very happy and vibrant child, and they had a happy life, only leaving thier isolated village when they needed to go to a market elsewhere to sell thier wares.
Alas... On one such trip, when Sachi was nine, they were ambushed. by a band of ruthless bandits. Only she managed to survive, though not unscathed.
The bandits took her and sold her to a brothel, where she lived and worked until she was 17. At which point she had discovered her powers to charm men, and proceeded to convince one of her patrons to kill the owner of the brothel and burn it to the ground.
Since then she has been living wherever she can, stealing or conning what she needs from people.
She rescued Shin from a pair of ruthless thugs when they were just about to kill him. He has followed her ever since, seeing as how he has no family or place to go either.

Shin can turn into a giant silver wolf on which she rides from place to place. He is also the one that usually fights for her whenever possible.
