Okee Dokey, we're getting this thing under way! If you still want to help out, go volunteer at the Art and Pixel shop planning threads at the Fundraising Section! Hey, everyone! In the Fundraising Committee section, Jesse is talking about rebuilding a joint art shop we had last year! (Topic here)
I want to also include new artists or artists that were not a part of the joint art shop last year to join too. For now, let's just see who'd be interested in spending their time helping out. If we have too many volunteers, which we might, we'll make two separate art shops. There's no harm in that!
So, just let me know if you're interested, and we can make further plans from there at a later date.

Not to mention there is a lovely pixel shop trying to get started here. It needs to create a theme/ style of shop and then needs once off artists to make the pixel items to sell.

Hey, guys! The volunteers have been split in two by me and Jesse for the Art Shop, and you're in my group! Let's make this an awesome joint art shop! First off, please fill out the form on the second post of Jesse's art planning thread ( link). If you would, please post that form both in that thread, so Jesse can see it, and here, so I can see it. Super easy, just copy and paste. ^_^ Second, I really want our shop to have a theme. For example (though this isn't possible with the number of people we have), a "Seasons" themed art shop, where each person is a season. I want our shop to have a really cool theme, so feel free to toss out some ideas. Third, do you have any ideas for special events/prizes/contests we can do? We could possibly include a raffle or something. My idea is to have a raffle where each entrant pays something cheap like 25g and we draw for free art prizes!

Yay, theme ideas! I have so many ideas!
Pokemon gyms
Okami gods
Angels
Zodiac (Welp.) Or classical literature
Monster Galaxy (what, I love that game!)
Other mythical creatures
Cupcakes
Pastries (if we do this, I call macaron!)
Elements (technically, the basic elements ate water, fire, air, earth, and quintessence) (the Chinese have five basic elements: water, fire, metal, wood, ground)
The five fundamental virtues: wisdom, love, truth, goodness and justice.
...oh god these are pretty terrible
Contests: Maybe art contests based on our theme? Art contests on threads often are a hit or miss thing, though.
I'm really bad at coming up with contests. We shouldn't do much that requires a lot, like more than one post to participate.
Edit: how could I forget?? Black Rock Shooter characters! Madoka Magica characters!

I think we should probably avoid characters from series (though I absolutely love both Pokemon and Okami to death), just because we might get a lot of people who won't be familiar with that series. I really love the fundamental virtues a lot, elements, and pastries, yummy!
