Duss Fenrir is a young hero who lives in Metropolis. As a young child, Duss' grandfather always had him play with toy swords with his brother Noktisu. Unknown to him, Duss was being trained to fulfill an important destiny. Before Duss was even 15 years old, his father was killed in an attack on his home town, Nellos. After his grandfather passed away, he moved to Metropolis to start a new life, and to live out his grandfathers dying wish: destroy the Shades once and for all.
Duss lives his days in Metropolis by running around the city, most of the time fighting Shades or exploring new areas. He normally gets around by free running or parkour, but sometimes he rides through the city on his hoverboard. Duss' favorite place to go is Sunset Street, where he hangs out with his brother Noktisu and their friends.
Duss has a secret that not even his brother knows about. Something about Duss that seems to baffle people is the fact that he cannot die. Duss has taken several fatal wounds, but for some reason, he always gets up with a smile on his face and a witty remark.
No matter what, Duss always has a positive attitude. Even in grim situations he never seems to feel defeated or discouraged, making him an excellent leader and a powerful force to reckon with.
Move list: Duss has a katana passed down in the Fenrir family from generation to generation. Unlike traditional families, if there are two children, like in Duss and Noktisu's case, the sword will be given to the youngest child. It has a black handle and scabbard, with a long metal blade. Duss also has an antique revolver that he made himself. It is crafted from the strongest metal on the planet, and the handle is made of wood from a large ivory colored tree.
Duss normally uses these weapons to attack Shades and other foes. He has no elemental ability whatsoever, unlike his older brother and the generations before him who used lightning.
Duss also has an odd ability that seems to benefit him. Whenever Duss takes a fatal wound, a few seconds will pass before he rises once again and gets right back to the action. Strangely, he rises with ashes falling off of him and flames surrounding him, even though he has no fire abilities.
Duss also moves extremely fast, too fast for cameras to catch him on the frame rate and so fast that his brother Noktisu can barely see him. Noktisu believes that Duss isn't actually moving fast at all, and is instead slowing down the frame rate of Duss' own vision, making him appear to move extremely fast, when instead everyone else is moving slow.
Duss' age varies by chapter. In chapter 1, Duss is a newborn infant. In chapter 2, he is shown at ages 7 - 10. In chapter 3, he is shown at 16. In chapter 4, he is 17, and in chapter 5 he is 18. Chapters 6 and 7, he is 19.
