Itachi the Scorpion"Huh?" 'Oh crap, it's the Seta kid. I can't beat him.' Itachi had slid off the rooftop as soon as the barrier faded, and made his way down through the school wherever the invisible walls allowed. Once he realized he was being manipulated in a certain direction however, Itachi figured that he was as caught up in the Tower's web as he could get. He was either going to keep fighting until he reached the creature and beat it into submission (as Messengers were known to do), or he was going to wind up running against a wall and becoming fodder for someone else. It looked like the latter situation was the case, but maybe if he used this Seta kid's nature against him, he could escape without winding up tasting pavement. He was the kind of person who could cause trouble for Orochi-Hetero and Raiden, so Itachi could never win in a direct battle. He was soft though, and Itachi could use that fact, without any trouble. "Here? It's a school. Why wouldn't I be...wait...this isn't right." Itachi gripped his head, shaking it in disbelief as he stumbled forward a bit. A little improv could go a long way, especially when Soji and his friends must have been looking for all the usual cliches. If he expected victims to have muddled memory, and to be woozy, then when he got what he wanted he'd only believe it all the more. "My name is...Itachi Kishikido, with the Inaba Police Force." Itachi scratched his head, taking a few deep breaths as he attempted to keep his head clear through the fog. What was this, why did his head hurt...? That was the impression he was working on, at least. "We received word that a weird television program was airing, so I was told to investigate...nngh, the Junes mascot, or whatever. The hell does a bear costume have to do with this though? Or that's what I thought. One thing led to another and...wait, h-how did I get here?" Itachi winced, placing his hand to his face. He glanced through his fingers to see if Soji was reacting to his words, unaware yet of the illusions the Shadow could cast on their senses. After all, he was their enemy so there was no reason to force a battle between them, at least with the robot girl. Moreover, his current angle was full of lies and deceit, so the Shadow might understand that and let his words get across to Soji...if only to confuse and entangle the Investigation Team leader in it's web further.
"If you're part of this weird event, I give up! I don't have any reason to be on the school premise, so I think I should go..." Itachi turned his head and gave a wary smile, knowing that if this were the real world, he'd of been thrown out a while ago. It felt cheesy claiming that he was in the real world when he knew that he wasn't, but it was still too risky to simply battle Soji Seta. If worst came to worst, he might have to force himself to faint just to avoid saying anything else that could incriminate his a**, though he doubted it would come to anything like that. He really didn't feel like quitting his day job though, so Itachi was going to worm his way out of this situation one way or the other. Some stupid a** Shadow wasn't going to ruin everything, and if he had to ruin this little show just to protect his own place inside of the Messengers, then General Teddie and his cast of rejects were just going to have to suffer through, because this tournament ultimately meant nothing before the schemes of the Messengers who would rewrite the world. Crashing this party would be a sacrifice they'd just have to make for the greater good. Or something along those lines...

Soji Seta, The Sister Complex Kingpin of Steel "...Show me a hero, and I'll write you a tragedy..."There were a lot of dangerous possibilities with the appearance of somebody unknown inside of the television, and that potential trouble was never far from the mind of the Investigation Team's silver-haired leader. Whether this newcomer was an enemy, a member of the Messiahs or Messengers, or just another victim remained to be seen. He approached without hesitation; the answers could be obtained through no easier method than simply speaking to his second round 'opponent' and finding out what he knew...or what he was willing to say in order to confuse him or buy time. One thing he hadn't expected to hear, however, was that the man was a member of the Inaba Police Force. His silver eyebrow raised at the blue-haired man's explanation of who he was, and how he couldn't quite remember what had brought him to this place...or even where here was. Everything about what he was saying was perfectly in-line with the usual disappearances of people inside of the television, the Senior noted almost instantly, and he had no immediate reasons not to believe him. He felt a little of the tension release from his shoulders as he glanced around the room in the Gymnasium, seeing that there were no other people there for either of them to see. It was just the two of them, and his opponent didn't seem all that interested in fighting him. He might say that fortune were finally on his side, if he were the type who really believed he could find luck in a place like this. What he could guess from the situation, however, was that this match either meant to give him another burden he had to consider the safety of and divide his focus...or it was a trap that he couldn't let himself fall for. He had no reason to believe the latter just yet, however. So when Itachi suggested giving up and moving on, he allowed himself the faint hope that it might be that simple.
"Officer Kishikido, was it? Just try to calm down and think about how you got here. What is the last thing you remember? Who were you with? This place can be pretty disorienting, but it's important to try and recall what you can. ...I'll explain the rest once we've made it out of here," the Senior began to explain in a fashion much similarly to any other victim they had come inside of the television to rescue. There was no way that someone just tossed in would be able to accept the truth about this place so easily, so it was useless to try to convince them of all the facts right away. He considered using that as a test to see if the man was lying, of course, but if he was this good in his act already, he doubted the man would fall for such an obvious trick. Proceeding with care was necessary, but he also didn't want to act overly suspicious and provoke an attack...or worse, if he truly was a victim as he seemed, scare him off, confuse him worse, and cause him to dash off into the TV without an escort. ...Or well, try to. After all, there was one obstacle standing in the way of any easy escape from this place and any easy rescue. "Before that, though...you should have noticed by now, but this is apparently some sort of a Grand Prix, with you and I and all of the others trapped in here being forced to fight," the Senior continued his explanation after a beat, glancing towards the bloodstain on the floor again with a small modicum of worry filling his heart, "And this isn't the first round, either...so who else have you met since you entered? If you can tell me about your first match, it will be a help. After that, just declare you forfeit and find somewhere safe to hide and wait for me to return. ...It might seem unfitting for an adult to submit to a high school student and leave the rest to him, but trust me, in this area, I'm a lot more experienced than you are."

Itachi the Scorpion"A-area? What are you...?" Itachi shook his head, pretending to try and recall through hazy memory. "Nah, you're still in High School. You should just leave everything to..." Itachi started to pull the 'leave it to the professionals' routine, but he made sure to slowly trail his words off, and clutch his head a bit more. 'Any time now, you damn bear. Any tiiiime...oh screw it.' From what he'd seen, Seta didn't have any sort of sensory abilities. If he did then his ruse was going to be useless anyways, so as long as he was working on the assumption the Ace couldn't switch in a Persona like those supporters, he figured he mind as well go in all the way. "Shut up kid." His tone suddenly changed drastically, hoping to skew himself away from his previous acting enough to fool Soji into believing something was going on. "Everybody's here for the tournament, and you don't even want to compete fairly? Whaaat a let down. If you didn't have such a hard on for saving people, we probably never would have gotten you involved." His tone was sick and his words were crude compared to before, creating even more dissonance with the Itachi of before. If there's one thing he felt he'd learned from being disillusioned with this world, it was that there was no real way to project yourself; people saw what they want, and if you made the gap between who they 'thought' you were, and your new way of acting even bigger, then they'd just buy it hook, line, and sinker. He thought he remembered one of his favorite cop shows saying something like that, but it was only coming back to him now. 'The bigger the lie, the more they believe...' "Hanamura, Amagi? They were the easy ones to get involved. But you...if we hadn't invited your little sis in here, there's no way we could get you to participate." Itachi waved a hand in front of his face and let out a sadistic laugh, goading Soji with the first thing he could come up with. It might have seemed like a ridiculous tactic to piss off the Investigation Team Leader and get him to lash out at Itachi, but the truth was if he had played up the sympathetic angle any further then he might have gotten asked some really hard to answer questions. If he acted like this world, or more importantly a Shadow was affecting him though, then he could probably get this kid to try and battle him and thinking he was just a regular, he'd go for a swift knockout. It wasn't that Itachi wanted to lose to their main antagonist per say, but he'd learned in basketball before that sometimes it was better not to take someone on one-on-one. He'd learned to fake an injury if it incapacitated the opponent's best player before, and the experience helped this plan agree with the pit of his stomach...at least a little bit. Nobody really liked losing consciousness after all, but if he could send Seta off the deep end it just might benefit the Shadows in the end, and if not he would at least divert attention from how he made his miraculous entrance into the TV World without a homicidal detective's partner on the loose. Seriously, it wasn't like Hetero was beating people over the heads with televisions either.
"You better fight~. If you don't, then who knows what'll happen to poor little Nana-chan. I think General Teddie's hanging on to her in the Announcement Room, but if you lose then he really doesn't have a use for her anymore, does he? And wasn't this world bad for her anyways? Shame if something happened like last time..." Itachi drew his gun from his holster, pointing it dead at Soji. If this wasn't enough provocation, then he knew that the Senior was the messiah incarnate and that nothing would be able to stir him to battle. That being the case, he was getting kind of desperate to put this act to an end, so he needed to make sure that Soji struck now, and that he didn't accidentally unleash his power and prove that it was all a ruse to the I. Teamer. Easier said than done when you knew the other guy was waving around five feet of steel and you'd just threatened murder on his little sis, but if Itachi simply kept faith in the fact that Seta would never go overboard, then he felt he could make it a little longer. "So here's the deal, you Siscon. You're going to kick this cop's a**, or Dojima's daughter is going to be spending a lot more time with her mom. Come on, it's all fair; the guy's even armed!" Though the words came from Itachi's mouth, he did his best to give the impression they weren't his own, inwardly smirking when he hoped it might even cause Seta to lose a bit of sleep over it. They weren't his words, so Soji had to feel guilty, because what had Itachi ever done to him~? After all, this was the television world...anything could happen, right?Quote: Itachi fires a shot at Soji.

Soji Seta, The Sister Complex Kingpin of Steel "...Show me a hero, and I'll write you a tragedy..."If Itachi were hoping to convince the Senior that he was really just an innocent bystander who had been drug into the television for this ridiculous Grand Prix, he was hitting all of the right points while deftly avoiding some of the potholes that might have given him away. Not addressing his last-round opponent was something that left a very important point up in the air between them; knowing who he had fought would let him know whether or not he had any business being in this round or not as a non-Persona-user. After all, without his Persona he would have no chance against one of his teammates...nor would he have any chance against one of their enemies...perhaps even less of a chance, given the lack of sympathy they had for those who did not belong inside the television. Really, the only chance a newcomer to the world had in a place like this was if they were matched up against another person like them; even then, you ran the risk of encountering your shadow, of extreme exhaustion within a short time period. Nanako had even nearly died, being weaker than the average adult, which showed just how oppressive the air inside of the television could really be to someone who wasn't used to it. This man...he showed a lot of the disorientation but not quite the fatigue he would have expected. Then again, he was an adult as well, so his endurance might be a bit more than Rise, Naoto, and the others they had saved over the last year, right? No, that wasn't enough to say that the guy was playing any sort of a game with him or trying to deceive him. ...However, there was someone inside of the television and this Tournament who was clearly trying to deceive everyone, and it was only a matter of time before he made his own move to force them into what he hoped was an unnecessary battle. And sure enough, the man's attitude shifted and ht barbs he began to throw aimed to hit home in the Investigation Team Leader's heart. There was nothing within them that really bothered him, however. ...Not until the name of a certain younger sibling was brought into play, and his ashen eyes widened with a mixture of confusion and white hot anger.
"Nanako...?! Did you say Nanako was in here?!" the words were bit hard and spit out as though they hadn't even had the time to be chewed over...his fingers clenched around the hilt of one of his two blades reflexively and he glared in the direction of his foe...not at Itachi, but the shadow he believed to be controlling what he was seeing, "Where is she?! Is she in the Announcement Room right now?! ...Answer me!" His protests and questions went without answer...the voice content merely to mock him and lay out some commands that he knew he would have to follow one way or another. The Grand Prix's rules were beginning to become a real bother, and now that time was of the essence, he didn't have time to consider whether or not this was a taunt or a lie. If there was a chance...even a chance that his little sister was in here somewhere...he had to fight with all of his strength, making haste until he had reached the end and unraveled this mystery. As a police officer, he knew that his foe would understand...if he had been true to his word, that was. He drew his weapon and glared hard at his foe, shifting smoothly to avoid the first gunshot meant to draw him into a fight. ...If this was what it came to, then he wouldn't hold back!
"Officer Kishikido, I'm sorry...but I've got to end this round right now and move on. ...I will protect Nanako!" power flashed around him dangerously, and in an instant he had transformed into his Fused form and crossed the distance between he and his opponent...the hilt of his blade buried three inches deep into his abdomen for a textbook body-blow knockout...or so he intended for it to be at any rate. If this guy was only human, it would be more than enough...and with the level of power he had, even some Messengers and Messiahs would fall with just that. But he didn't have time to regret his actions, he only had time to move forward. Withdrawing his sword, he continued on towards the far end of the gymnasium and the double doors there. If his foe fell, he would continue on straight through them towards the next round, ignoring the girlish cries of the fake Rise and the mocking admiration of the fake Teddie. They meant nothing to him, only tools meant to get to him and divert his concentration from his ultimate goal.
Victory...and to find out if what the voice had told him was really the truth or a cruel, uncaring lie.
'Nanako...if you're in here...' he thought, teeth clenched tighter than his fists, '...I won't let you down again!'Quote: Physical Attack - Sword hilt to the solarplexus. [Target - Itachi]

Some hallways seemed to go on and on before she finally met a turn or maybe even a door. Nix couldn't stop and take another break though, she needed to find the gymnasium. She already found Kusuri and Zeo so perhaps she could find the others after making sure Genji was okay. If he wasn't in the Gym then she would look for him as well as the others by searching the whole school. Only when she sees everyone back together would she be able to relax. Right now any of them could be in a lot of danger and in need of help!
Finally Nix found the familiar metal door to the Gym and opened it to step inside. The abnormal amount of chairs stacked up high was a clear sign that she was in the right place. The snowy haired girl's breathing was heavy from the constant running in her condition. "G.. Genji, are you here?! Anyone?" She called out, hoping to at least find someone she new in the room. ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ♫
