The raising sun shown on dew covered meadows. The day promised to be a hot one for the insects were already starting to buzz and zip around. In one meadow where the grass almost seemed to glow under the sun's growing light a dark shadow rolled threw the wet grass. Dusty looking mane and tail tossed wildly with the swaying and bending foliage.
When no one was around to see Intage tended to be a bit more foal like. And now when most were still asleep she could prance and play. Any who knew her knew her to be a more formal and adult mare. She had yet to bear any foal herself but she would often stand guard around any she found on their own. It was not often that she could be caught playing with them but she was more gentle and friendly with them than she was with other adults. These thoughts did not cross her mind as the splattered mare rolled onto her belly tucking her legs under her she debated rolling again or getting herself to her hooves.

The great stallion rose with slight strain, he had been running all that night and enjoyed the sweet darkness, the wind from his speed catching in his mane. Ah alas why must the sun rise? Heightening himself to standing he stretched his sore muscles and slowly headed out towards where he knew a meadow would be for some morning grazing. Shaking the dust off he lowered his muzzle to the moist grasses, nibbling on a few strands before sensing that he wasnt alone in this meadow. He sensed another Unicorn but had no idea of where, continuing to munch he headed to where he thought the energy was coming from, at a slow grazing pace. For the reason he was hungry and for another he didnt want to startle whoever was here.

Intage had just been about to roll again when she heard the sound of another moving near. How had then gotten so close to her without her know. She gave a bit of a sign and she slowly got to her hooves unable to roll freely now that another was near her. Her grey eyes quickly spotted the dark stallion her lips pulling is a bit of a frown at the sight of what looked to be blood all over his coal coat. She saw his read eyes scanning for what she assumed to be her as he calmly grazed. A brutal looking thing he was, she thought with a snort and turned from him a bit to lower he head as well.

Once upon the gorgeous mare he stopped and raised his head, grass still hanging from his mouth. He grunted something that resembled a hello as he shook his dusky mane. Wondering if the mare really cared or not, at this point he figured he wasnt going to frighten this one away. Munching up the last bit of green-dewey strands he made his way closer to her slowly, just out of curiousity.

Silver eyes took in the brutish stallion before her. What appeared to be dried and even a hint of fresh blood over his dusty coat disgusted her. It did not matter if he was handsome or not the mess that he presented himself did not impress her. Her eyes narrowed and her tail flicked at his almost dumb founded look with grass hanging form his mouth.
She gave a stop of her front hoof as he drew a bit closer but then she lowered her head as well and took up a mouthful of moist grass and small clovers. Well it did not seem that he had caught her playing so she might as well play if off that she came to eat as well. Her silver eyes continuing to watch him even as she chewed.
