He blushed a bit at the thought of seeing Aven more often. "Well. That part is really all up to you Aven. If you're okay with having me around more often I'd be more than glad to come by and have dinner every night and help you put Ceallach to bed before I leave."

"I wouldn't mind at all, Devin." Aven managed a small smile as she finished her food and began clearing the table. "I've made apple pie for dessert. Who would like some?" She had to get off of the subject of Devin coming around more. The room seemed to get a bit too warm then. Damn her nerves.

"You know I can't resist anything you cook Aven. I'd love some pie." He shifted in his seat and turned to focus on Ceallach. "If I do that though, you have to promise to behave and stop being such a pain for her, okay?"

He nodded and squirmed excitedly as he focused on the pie that Aven was serving. "I promise. I'll behave just like an angel!"

Aven smiled as she pulled the pie from the window sill. "Well I'm glad to see that you both agree on that." She moved back to the table with plates and the pie serving them at the table. "Now then, since you have agreed to come by more you can also take your son places so I can get some cleaning done."
