I like both but I'm more of a sub genre fan.
I love romantic comedies and psychological horror movies. Examples would be films like:
Must Love Dogs, Better of Dead, Just like heavem
Orphan, Donnie Darko, Strangeland

I could say I like romantic comedy at least but the romantic all the time movie it just makes me sad. 😥I have never seen the orphan...is it good enough to watch it?

Donnie Darko was way ahead of its time.
Orphan is really good, I like it, I haven't heard anything bad about it from the people I know who have seen it. Its pretty original and refreshing for my tastes, I don't want want to give away to much though. There's some slight gore but not too much, it still keeps you intrested all the way to the end

Aliens, they are creepy, the pop up out of nowhere and grab you and eat you, or, even worse, the facehuggers deliver a baby one inside a human and the chestbursters are random and suprising. The deadliest one is the queen, bigger, meaner, and deadlier than any Xenomorph that ever lived.

I love the old black and white monster movies and movies with Vincent Price heart They may not be scary by today's standards but for their time the were and I find them charming
