This shop is the new sanctuary of retired shinigami, Kenshin Hiroshi. Here, you can find the remaining family members of the Hiroshi clan and the rest of his shop employees, who are all gifted spiritually. You can find here a place to restock on any necessary supplies needed for soul reapers sent here like soul candy and such, and often a place to rest, heal or train if needed by someone.

As Kenshin snored in his room, the sun soon began to slowly creep it's way inside Kenshin's room. His hair was disorganized, and he was in a rather obscure position, as he was in some deep sleep. However, the sun began to shine more and more brighter inside Kenshin's room, as the glare of the sun hitting his eyelids soon woke up him. He slowly rose from his bed, as he yawned from exhaustion and looked around, as he got up and rubbed his hands on his eyes, as he looked at the clock and saw that it was 6:02 in the morning. "It's morning already? Huh. Better get started for another long day of work. With that, Kenshin soon got up and made his way over to his closet, where he slid the door open. Inside, he looked around and found his old shinigami uniform and sighed, as he began to reflect on the old days from his service to the soul society. Sighing, Kenshin looked away from his uniform as he looked away from his old uniform and looked around to see what to wear. Soon figuring out what to wear, he grabbed one of his old shinigami uniforms, he put it on, as he took off his pajamas and put them away carefully. Sighing once he finished, he grabbed his white scarf and put it on. Once finished, he walked out of his room and closed the door behind him.
Kenshin then made his way over to the main area of his shop, as he began to get ready for another day of work in his own shop. He then began to restock his shelves with merchandice, candy and such and other miscellaneous items around the store. Once done, Kenshin looked around and smiled as he saw that his shop was ready for another day of business. Making his way over to the entrace of the shop, he opened the door and pulled out a bag of rice and saw a group of pigeons that would usually hang around the front of his shop. Smiling, he began to toss some rice over to the birds, as he allowed them to get a snack before he began to work. Before he stopped, he noticed a large number of pigeons nearby and thought to himself, "Huh. How about that. They're seemed to be more and more coming with each and every passing day. How about that....." Once he finished feeding the birds, he made his way over to the door and flipped his wooden sign, which then said 'Open'. He then made his way inside and sat down at the cash register, as his pet dog approached him and laid down next to him, ready for customers to appear at the shop.

A senkaimon opened a few miles away from the shop as a million butterflies flying off from it, Tsutaurushi walked outside, her spirit pressure was completely suppressed so it would be nearly impossible to pick it up unless you were at a head captain level. Tsuta had hear a lot of stories about the World of the living but had never visited it herself and she assumed now would be a good time to do just that. Tsuta was quite eager to visit this shop her friend had told her about, according to her friend it belonged to a man named Kenshin Hiroshi who once was a very remarkable shinigami but had decided to live the peaceful life of Karakura. Tsuta was unsure if she had met this man in the past and was really intrigued to know what kind of shop he had, could he be like that old man Urahara or was he any different. Tsuta used her air walk abilities to descent to level ground and step on the streets, as she did the butterflies dissapeared and the senkaimon dissipated into the wind.
After a few minutes of tedious walking under the hot sun of Karakura Tsuta had finally made it to the shop, the shop seem nice and simple yet it was something special to it. She walked towards the door and checked the time to make sure the shop was open and she wasn't just breaking and entering on other people's property. Tsuta read the sign that stated the shop was open and she walked inside, a little bell ringing as she made her way inside the establishment. Tsuta could not help but chuckle as she found the bell quite comical and weird as she was not use to this kind of scenery, she noticed the black haired man behind the counter near the register and walked towards his way. With an slight smile on her face she looked at the man "Ohayō I was wondering if you guys have any shinigami related items in this shop?" Tsuta asked in a very kind and polite tone as to not draw much suspicion to herself.

Kenshin smiled as he saw his first customer of the day appear already. He took a moment to look at her face, and noticed her green hair and pale skin. After glancing at her for a few moments, Kenshin nodded, as she checked out for him as a spiritually aware being. "Ohayō to you madame! You name it and I have it in stock. So, what exactly are you looking for madame on this fine day, if I might be so kind to ask?" Kenshin was curious to know, as he rarely received shinigami to his shop without notice from the soul society. He then paused for a moment, as he looked down to his Siberian Husky, who seemed rather awake and sharp, as he walked over to the woman and began to sniff her. "Now what exactly is this mutt up to?" Kenshin looked at his dog, as he began to act a bit odd around this woman, as she simply began to walk around the woman and then sat down next to her lap, which was highly odd for his dog, as she was rather uneasy around spiritually gifted being, with the exception of himself and his employees. Then raising his eyebrow, he began to ponder the thought that this woman was not a shinigami. However, he decided to remain quiet about this, and simply observe this woman to speak more before making such wild assumptions.

"I was wondering if you have any of those portable inflatable gigai?" Tsuta asked as she noticed the dog sat next to her and she gently placed her hand on his head and smiled. "This is a beautiful dog you own, it would seem he has develop a liking towards me. I have to say I am rather flatter most people don't really like me." Tsutaurushi said as she smiled and flipped her hair to the side and looked at Kenshin a bit more. "Also I was wondering if there is anyway you could fix this old katana that was given to me by a close friend I would most likely like to fix it and returned to her all fix." Tsuta said as her reiatsu fluttered for a bit and she felt down to her knees holding her head for a second before coughing. She was quite weak from all the walking and without a doubt she had forgotten to eat with all the troubling. She stood in the ground for a few minutes before returning to her feet and facing the man once more. "Sorry about that I have been rather weak lately with this heat waves attacking town."

"Well of course madame. I'm in stock for just about every type of gigai. However, I must ask you, who sent you over my way? I'm only asking because of the fact that I have to be responsible with who I give out merchandise to, especially after past abuse from previous clients." Then looking at her katana, he glanced at it and smiled. "Sure thing! Though I have to tell you that my current blacksmith is on vacation so she won't be back for a few days, so you'd have to wait a few days for it to get fixed." He then smiled as he saw that this woman was making friends with his beloved dog, as he smiled, but soon saw that she fell down to her knees. It was clear that she wasn't familiar with the world of the living's environment and was clearly dehydrated. He immediately ran to the kitchen and grabbed her a bottle of water and rushed his way over to the woman. He passed her a bottle of water and gave to her. "Take this ma'am. Your dehydrated right now and you need to drink up. I have to ask you this though, are you a shinigami, and if so, are you here on a mission on behalf of the soul society? If not, then what brings you over here to my delightful shop?" Kenshin was curious to know where this woman was doing here in his shop, more specifically in the world of the living.

SpacerHaving only recently returned to Karakura, Airisa wasn't familiar with the streets yet. In fact, it had changed quite a lot since she was last here a long time ago. "I guess asking for directions would be the best choice," she said out loud. Luckily she just happened to be passing a place she knew, Kenshin's Shop. Stepping inside, she could see a man with the woman from a while back. It felt a bit rude to interrupt, so she decided to wait silently, she wasn't in a hurry anyway. Spacer

Kenshin sighed as he continued to give medical attention to Tsutaurushi, as it was clear that she was exhausted from the heat that was rampant. However, she soon fell asleep, as it was clear that she needed some rest. Sighing, he carried her to the back of his shop, and set her down on a twin sized bed, and let her rest, as he had other matters to attend to. Kenshin then noticed that another woman had appeared at his show. She looked familiar to Kenshin, as he noticed that she was a part of the Gotei 13. He sighed, as he usually didn't receive visitors from the Gotei 13 of Airisa's caliber, so he was curious to see why she came over to his shop. "Come on in. I had to assist that young lady, as she was dehydrated and just needed some rest for now." Pausing, he then sighed, as was already going to tell that today was going to be a rough day for him. "So what brings you all the way out here to my humble shop, Taichō Voltaire?" He was curious to know what brought her out here to his shop on this day.

SpacerStraightening up, Airisa replied, "I hope she gets well soon then." Completely entering the shop now, she realised that it's been much longer than she thought. "Just Airisa is fine," she stated, "Looks like I'll be joining you in retirement," the last part was said in a more joking tone. It was quite easy to tell that outside of Seireitei Airisa was much more open, in respect to showing her emotions that was. "Actually, I feel a little stupid asking this...but would you point me in the direction of Seiten Shrine?" she asked hesitantly. Kenshin may or may not know that it was actually her place of residence in Karakura Town, and not knowing where 'home' was, was just stupid. Kenshin was surprised to hear that Airisa was retiring. It was surprising seeing another fellow shingami retiring, as it wasn't very common for him to hear. "So you retiring? You'll enjoy having time all the spare time you'll have to yourself. It's rather relaxing to be honest. Though I have to ask, why are you retiring? It's not that often that I get to cross paths with retired shinigami, so it's just simple curiosity is all." Sighing, he grabbed a cup of teapot that was nearby and grabbed two tea cups, as he poured some tea for himself and his guest. "Oh, would you be interested in some tea by the way?" He asked in a polite tone, as he was usually very welcoming to those who made their way over to his shop. He then reached down to his counter and pulled out a tablet, as he pulled up directions to Seiten Shrine. Then passing it over to Airisa, he told her the following. "Here's instructions to the shrine. It should be relatively easy to find. Though I'll need the tablet when you're done using it. Just make sure not to lose it, it's come pretty handy to be used in this shop. With that, he then took a sip of tea from his cup, as he remained quiet.
Spacer"Let's just say, I'm too old to keep up with the kids these days. They're reckless behaviour isn't going to lead them to victory nor any improvements in anything," Airisa replied, with a hint of disdain which was quickly erased by the time she finished. After realising what she said, she chuckled lightly before accepting Kenshin's offered tea with a grateful smile. "Mm, you seem to be living quite the relaxed life," she smiled as she sipped on the tea. Looking at the tablet in Kenshin's hands Airisa awkwardly smiled, the other had good intentions but he didn't know her weakness. Pushing the tablet away, she said, whispered more like, "I'm...not very good with directions...even if they're written down..." It was true, Airisa wasn't direction-wise unless she was being serious. "I don't blame you. It was pretty hard back in my day when I was the commanding captain of the Gotei 13. It was sometimes hard maintain the others in place. Though I do have to say I miss it all." Pausing, he then noticed his dog laying down next to his feet and smiled. Then turning his attention back to Airisa, he continued to speak. "Though I have to say, retirement has been nice for me. I don't have to worry about fighting and the loads of paperwork that comes with the job. Besides, all the free time to myself has allowed me to truly discover inner peace and enjoy the simple things that take part of life." Sighing, he then took another sip of his tea, as he started to think of some old memories of his past, as he was quiet for a short moment. However, he soon smiled again, as he continued to speak. "Oh that's fine then if you need help getting over to the Shrine. If you need, I can take you over to the shrine if you need? It's a bit of a walk, but the walk is worth it once you make your way over to the shrine." He then waited for Airisa to answer.
SpacerAirisa had nearly forgotten Kenshin used to be the Commander, it'd been such a long time. "You must've had it worse in the worst of times. I suppose there's always times we look back and think, 'Wasn't that more interesting?', or something sentimental like that," she replied. She wasn't too keen on doing that yet, especially since she'd just sent in her resignation letter. Thinking back to the cause of her resignation, Airisa realised she was somewhat stuck in a state of mind that forced her to strongly dislike those she once respected but instead proved otherwise. Either way, she wasn't one to hold grudges so what's over and done with was left in the past. Taking a final sip from the tea, she set the cup down on the counter and thanked Kenshin, "Sorry for the extra trouble, but that would be nice. Karakura seems to have changed rather drastically in the last 50 years." After a small bow she smiled, "Oh yes, it's definitely worthwhile. In fact, I hear it's popularity has been increasing recently. I wonder why?" The last part was more her thoughts than a direct question to Kenshin. Spacer Spacer

"Yeah. Even though I've gone through somethings that I wish I didn't have to experience, sadly I've had to. However, it's a new day, I should be more excited for what this day holds for me, no matter how good or bad things can get." Sighing, he then got down and pet his dog, as he got up and grabbed his tablet and placed it back in his cabinet. Then getting ready, he grabbed his katana's and placed them on his hip, as he was already out of gigai, so he could walk around Karakura Town with several weapons on his hip. "Well then, now that I'm all set, shall we get going?" Then pausing for a second, he looked down at his katana's and looked back at Airisa. "Oh and don't worry about these. I usually walk around with my collection of katana's just in case of emergencies." With that, he made his way over to the exit of his shop and placed the 'Gone Fishing' sign on his door. Then he looked at Airisa and told her, "Whenever you're ready, let's go to the Shrine." With that, he waited for Airisa to follow him to the shrine.
SpacerAirisa didn't say anything in response to the other's first words, she knew what he meant, exactly what he meant. Watching Kenshin grabbing his swords reminded Airisa that she should probably get a gigai some time in the future. For now it would be fine though. "Well, at least I won't be the only one with weapons on hand this way," she smiled before following Kenshin out into the streets.
