Diamond's Control over the other elements.

Think of all the girl's powers as ' Good Better Perfect '. Diamond to start has 'Better' control over Ice. Thus put, she's not her best, because she's been separated from her sisters. The other girl's, are all in 'Better' for their elements as well. Diamond's control over the other elements are at 'Good'.

When she comes into skin contact via hand touch, meaning she deliberately touches one of her sisters hands, with the other sister knowing of this. As in a hand shake, or High five. Diamond's 'Good' control over the other element(s) is transferred to her sister(s). Thus making them 'Perfect'. Vice Versa, though for Diamond, she must touch all four sisters, transfer their powers, to achieve 'Perfect' in her control over Ice. Diamond will also loose control over the element transferred.

I.E. She meets Ruby, they get to know each other, then with a final Handshake, Diamond's control over Fire is transferred to Ruby, making her 'Perfect'. Diamond would then be unable to control Fire, even in the slightest.

(They don't know how to transfer powers, so of course, a lot of confusion would follow the first few transfers.)
