We all have a Facebook or know someone that does.
I found this pic and thought that I would do a repost and see what everyone says about it.

I typed one of the 'cited' source but it led me to a Youtube channel.

"That's not faith. That's insanity!"

Last I checked, they were quite well on the same page. And I don't mean that to be offensive. People believe in some pretty insane stuff to make their beliefs valid. And many of these people function well in their social environments.

To understand how the bible was made, and to simultaneously refer to it as the infallible word of God is just plain silly. I mean, I hear that the people who made all those changes, adaptions, translations, etc., who in turn did it from the adaptions and transalations of others, so forth and so on, had to have done it guided by the hand of God. Of course, you'd have to believe that to have any hope of accepting the bible as legitimate. But if that's the case, why bother with sources at all? Perhaps a middle ground on the issue.

The "facts" on this are do wrong that they are laughable. We have over 6,000 contemporary, written within 100 years of the person's life time, writings about Christ that have survived. That's more contemporary writings then we have of Abraham Lincoln, which is the most written about president. It's also obvious that this person doesn't know the process in which the monks copied the Bible. The orginal manuscripts are still around and the King James Version is the closest translation to those manuscripts. Just because the orginal manuscripts are not open to the public doesn't make them nonexistent. They are currently being held in the Papal Library in Rome. There have been several scholars who have been able to see and handle the manuscripts. Due to the age of the them the process to see them is very selective so they can keep preserving them.
