Farmer Ted ... Well, no offence, but that definately was a strange thing to read. Like I said, no offence. Hmm, I'm embarassed now... *laughs* Don't worry, I don't take offense to that. I like to tell people I'm a ghost. Literally. xd My friends believe me because I'm so pale and cold all the time. [My Mom actually likes it when I get a fever when I'm sick because then my cheeks are flushed and I have color.] So, don't be embarrassed about misunderstanding me. ^_^
Phlebotomists can't find my veins. It was pretty funny when I had to get two titers done just to get my current job. [To test what I was still immune to after getting immunizations. They lose effect over time.] They had to use a newborn foot warmer to find them...and even then, he just barely barely thought he found one. He had his boss come over and she said I had an itty bitty vein RIGHT next to my tendon. So he gave her a look, handed her the needle and said, "You do it. I don't wanna stick her tendon on accident!" So she had to put the needle in SUPER slow to avoid going through and sticking my tendon. -_-
I don't think it's a psychic only thing, though, because the hard to find veins and low body temperature bit run in my family. You should check out your family history to see if it could be hereditary. 3nodding
Dragon Ladysupreme - Actually, I think a couple of doctors proved that a long time ago. Back in Edgar Cayce's day. He said that they'd pick out one unsuspecting person and throughout the day, three people would say, "Are you feeling all right?" even though he was perfectly healthy. By the end of the day, he went to the doctor and was showing actual physical signs of being sick. So, yeah it is more of a "mind over body" thing. ^_^ Even if people just ask if you're feeling all right because you don't look so good, your mind makes you sick because you fret over it. xd

Wish I could find the proof again, still. It'd at least put my own mind at ease. Oh, and coincidentally, my situation is the opposite of yours with veins. xD People can see most of mine with ease. There's this one that people can trace from my wrist, up the arm, and just as it gets to the upper body.

Hmmm....I've never tried to take my blood pressure or anything, but I have a really low body temperature (95.2). I also get really sick if it's slightly too hot. Maybe this has to do with being an air element? *shrugs* Heck, maybe I'm just messed up.

If you are able to hold control over your blood pressure, would it then be possible to enquire that you could mentally control your bleeding if you ever received an injury?
I am not insisting that you damage yourself in order to test this hypothesis, but perhaps we can come to a conclusion through a mind experiment.

The Zenogias If you are able to hold control over your blood pressure, would it then be possible to enquire that you could mentally control your bleeding if you ever received an injury? I am not insisting that you damage yourself in order to test this hypothesis, but perhaps we can come to a conclusion through a mind experiment. To me, that would mean to completely slow your blood pressure down, which would be fatal since blood would not reach the brain or lungs. Even if it were possible, it'd be deadly.
