I want to play as a Nightblade in Skyrim (not like a thief or assassin though, more like a Scout with magic). So I was wondering which stealth race would be best based on their special abilities and skill bonuses? Also should I use one-handed swords, one-handed axes, or daggers plus when it comes to melee? I was planning on using destruction magic in one hand (blast my enemy until he gets close then switch to my melee weapon). And I know some might say Dark Elf (Dunmer), but I looked at their special abilities and I don't care much for it and as for the magic part, with the right leveling and the mage stone activated for a little while, I might make up for that plus the 3 races listed are my favorites.

Greetings;

Oh you can level magic pretty quickly. If you put in enough time as you just go through the game, you will get most spells up decently, but if you join the mages guild, you will be asked by the illusion magic trainer to clean the fountains, which, when completed, will make your magic meter remain untouched for...It was either two or four in real life hours. I forget which. Either way, if you are able to use higher level magic spells, it will allow you to level faster. As far as being a nightblade, weilding spells like invisibility, muffle would be very helpful, both are illusion magic, if I remember correctly. You can also utilize the silent casting perk from the illusion spell.

I would also carry around a dagger, short sword or other single handed weapon along with a pickaxe-for ore digging, but it can also be decently enchanted. The sword and dagger could also be decently enchanted, but I would also consider carrying a good bow too. Argonians can breathe underwater as well. It will allow you to slip away to where other things wouldn't be able to hit you as much. Though dragon attacks arn't much hindered by deep water from what I have seen.

From utilizing spells like that, it the argonian's immunity to disease, if it still carries into skyrim, underwater breathing, you could allow yourself to focus your clothing and jewlery enchantments more towards other more useful aspects. Feathering effects, stealth or magic, health, stamina regeneration or amplification.

Thank you...
